@bugattiveyron1789 It happens. But the risk it happens is very low. It is a matter of being very careful adjusting the power before you start. The people you see in the video using the tool for electro fishing has all been “to school” before they are allowed electro fishing. Most times “Fisheries Police” come looking it is done right. @reniV1 A small generator i placed behind in the little boat. It is the generator you can hear in the video. It is not as load as it seems to. Microphone in the liitle video recorder is not the best.

@reniV1 As this recording was done (2005): No. The Angling Lodge used "self made" gear for adjusting the power, security (power off) and so on. This is not allowed today. Now there is a law about what is to use. But I don't no the name of their gear today. There is a lot of products for electro fishing on the market. The Technical University of Denmark is still testing them; what can be used legal or not.

Yes it is legal. A few Sea trout are caught to collect eggs and sperm. Fry from this are used to restore the Sea trout elsewhere in Denmark. Population of Sea trout is getting better and better. They reproduce themselves and collecting eggs and sperm is going to be less necessary. It will not fully be stopped. Some waters will always need a little help keeping the Sea trout in a creak or stream/river.
