Hi. I'm a South African teaching in Korea. I have a question about he North American pronunciation of the word "etcetera".. can someone clarify it for me? Thanks.
Your video is awesome and something different from other videos and your topic is interesting. You did a great job for Bae Yong Joon's birthday. I guess you can speak and understand korean well since you stay there.
Yours Sincerely,
felvin
ps: Nice to see you in real live. You are very beautful.
I recently moved to Gunpo, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
I've been here for a week. I'm originally from Canada, here as an exchange student.
I watched this vid, and I was feeling the same way "Oooh, it'll be here later". But, I understand that now is the prime time to take pictures and document this experience and this beautiful city. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and even though I may come back to Korea, it may not be the same as I remembered.
Thanks for a great video. Your video made me think of my country, Korea again. I do think Bae young joon will be very happy about your special birthday gift for him. Good night !!!
Thank you for sharing such an insightful and meaningful vid. I think BYJ would deeply moved to know how much his message touched you and the rest of his family (myself included). Have a great weekend and thank again for sharing this vid! Hugs!
Even though I hate moving every year, it does give me the opportunity to experince different parts of SK. It really is a diverse place and its people are not the carbon copy mold many view them as. One of the reasons I started doing videos here was to share my experiences with others who have not been here and even with Koreans who may not have been where I have gone.
I think we all take our homes for granted and this was a great message not to.
Hi Tammy, this is AWESOME!! I'm deeply moved by your message to dear Yong-Joon ssi! I do hope he will get to watch this! What a creative and meaningful gift you've prepared for him on his 36th birthday! Thank you for doing this! And Wow, you look GREAT!!! God bless him and everyone!
hi tamar! i love your message to yong joon. i hope you won't mind me posting this in my blog as well as including in my post at kob together with the messages from soompi. i really hope that yong joon will get to read this. thanks again!

I live in one of the most "diverse" places in America. I do not know what it is like to live in a homogeneous society. I feel like a foreigner. Thus, I would sympathize with you and your plight.
There are many Koreans here. They own everything in the Black and Hispanic neighborhoods. They are an industrious bunch.
They are not criminally inclined, but horrible drivers.
Don't you ever miss other White people while living in Korea ? Jared Taylor lived in Japan for several years and he now heads American Renaissance, a big racialist organization.
I would lose my mind being away from my own people for so long.
Yeah, there are US army bases in Korea. Chuncheon used to have one that I'd visit on Sundays and go to Church services.
They don't just let you on base for the heck of it though. I lived there pre-Sept.11 so I don't know how their security measures may have changed since then.
what you just said about "be a tourist in your own country"is very important and i never thougth about it before i sale tours everyday and i never realize that i never took the oportunity to go on one of those trips ,my family ask me for pics of the difent national parks where i been working, the reason?well i live in there
thanks Tammy!!!very good video
well (be a tourist in your own country)no matter where you live,go enjoy it's yours :)
uhmmm a book very interesting. I always wondered what it would be like to live in turkey so I do get why you would want to make a video on this subject :)

I taught ESL in a hagwon and all the teachers were Americans just like me so I didn't get very homesick.
Korea is home to many Americans and Koreans are very hospitable hosts.
Tamar1973 3 years ago
so, there is like a little community of White people there ? There are US military bases there too ?
