I think we set ourselves up to get stuck when we over analyze what the Word says, instead of accepting it as it is written and letting the Holy Spirit minister to us through it. At times I've has success praying to God and then at times felt like every word I prayed fell to the ground. Im not sure why, but this I do know...that when I try too hard to pray...i get nowhere. Never get mad at God and stay mad. Feel free to express to God what you are feeling. Express yourself...get outside the lines of how some say you have to pray and just open your mouth and tell him your pain...frustration...joy...exc­itement. Dreams...desires...fears. Be honest! God will honor it.
