Final Fantasy Spirits Within was also an animation and stepped the bar for that time... it was about a female scientist collecting plants to rescue the world... bah... that's the whole reason I compared it with Avatar. They're both animation. If there's several similarities in the same department, It's a valid argument. like omg... don't be simple minded.

HAHAHAHA FinalF was NOT something that raised a bar of any sort. The only reason anyone ever said that is because they were bored enough to animate facial blemishes and such. Apart from that, It was nothing new story wise/technology wise/ originality.
