The ride at Dollywood is actually called Raging River Rapids. The old Opryland used to have the same kind of ride called The Grisley River Rampage. It's actually still there just dry and trees growing up around and inside of it's sad remains :(

Isn't the waterfall supposed to shut off as you go under? Ive been on that ride about once a year every year since I was 5 and it's always shut off before we go under.....except for last year. I got soaked! I love that ride!

Actually it's really quite plain, a few dips here and there, a small waterfall, little mist stream, a few machines where people pay $.50 to squirt you. I'm from Los Angeles and the other Raft Rides I've been on are Big Foot Rapids at Knotts Berry Farm (much better theme).
