Another thing is that a blind horse cannot go into a ring without 1) being warmed up first (nor can any horse. well u can but its bad to because their usually hot and u need to get them stretched first) 2) He hasn't been worked in like probably over 2 months? He hasn't even cantered since his blindness. 3) She didn't even change the entry forms. Oh and the rider can't ride. Well not very well at least. If they got a good rider and a good horse maybe people would like dressage more...

This is probably the worst dressage movie I've ever even seen. Well there an't many out there but this was a terrible movie. "Look at that halfpass.." Um a halfpass is where the forehand is leading and the legs are crossing and the neck is tilt toward the way you're going. In that freestyle she got an 8/10 for her canter pirouette? That was the biggest fucking pirouette ever. Oh and there's no such thing as winniner $20,000 from a show as small as that, or any show at that.

I haven't seen this movie, but all of the comments here are intriguing, and they sort of make me want to...I LOVE Julie Benz (the actress), but I have an issue with the fact that she didn't even acknowledge her horse when they won! He did quite a bit of the work, too! Not even a pat!

...I still think I'll probably end up seeing the film, tho... ;-)

My Thoroughbred mare was totally blind, too. We came in second in our only show together. We retired her after that, but she still runs around. :P I don't think she knows she's blind.

even though this movie is based ona true stroy, they dont even get the most imporatn facts right. lol. The horse Tolo was an appaloosa, Annie's name was not really annie, she never broke her leg from falling off a ladder, she got into a horse accident. lol

the horse is blind in both eyes. The horse won musical freestyle dressage, the thing is, this horse was an appaloosa, no warmblood or nice breed like that
