"(and thankfully no lame theremin solos by Claudio)", part of me wants to dislike this video just for that remark, but lucky for this joker I can't dislike Coheed, I am physically incapable...
@theecrank hahahaha agreed..but ironically enough i looked up the meaning of the name Claudio..and it means 'lame'...so not fitting at all... but hey some people call fat people slim jim and vice versa lol...its all a scheme to hide his genius i believe.. ;) lol
travis is definitely saying "what do you want, what do you want, oh what do you want. what. do. you. want." starting at 5:32. cracks me up every time, and i've watched this more times than a productive person should.
@20TheMintor11- it's not the music, its the effects and distortion, look up here we are Juggernaut acoustic, you'll be happy you did, changed YotBR for me..
Their damn good musicians but they have been ruined by publicity. The new Coheed doesn't exist to me. This is coheed and the new stuff is some knock off band.
@jdejarne On the Brink wasn't written yet when this was recorded. The outro to On the Brink is essentially a reprise of The Final Cut. But yeah I guess, they're essentially the same haha
i hate when metal heads underrate this band. the only metal band id give credit to is system of a down, and slipknot, theyre ok. most metal sucks, its just heavy repetitive riffs with a bunch of senseless screaming. that shit sucks. this has that jazzy foundation feel to it, its amazing . coheed for life.
@Traconiz they're referring to the theramin solo when they performed this at their Neverender show in 2008. Claudio was just messing around on it, kinda lame but makes for a good story and memory and all that jazz
D --> How the hell are they so amazing?!?!?! They create these amazing little things and play them so flawlessly. This is one band that truly deserves to be admired by so many fans. They have true music ability and live performance abilities that I have only otherwise seen in Buckethead. Coheed and Cambria is phenomenal.
@Traconiz Personally, I have not gotten into the concept, but you're right it's your opinion. I personally think all of their songs are great, though some are obviously just pure gold.
The band was going through horrible times during this show. but its awesome that they still put on a great show despite that. Sure would be cool of josh came back to coheed...
are the sounds of the crowd cut out on the actual dvd too? possibly a dumb question, but I've always liked that aspect of the live performance, and I'd be disappointed if it weren't there in this release. I know it was in there for the Starland Ballroom release and I liked that one a bunch because the crowd got involved.
damn they can play... i got this album like a year ago i guess and this song stood out above all the others just for how complex the guitar part at the end was... its crazy... even better live....
LOLOLOLOL! Watch at 3:36 to 3:40 Josh Eppard looks like a freaking monkey ape psycho wacking those cymbals and toms what a spaz, but he is still amazing at the drums and my favorite drummer. WTF SO FUNNY!!!
I'm gonna miss Mic. DO YOU HEAR THAT? He sounds terrific.
