  • Critical mass is illegal all who participate should be arrested for mob action, along with getting multiple traffic tickets.

  • @BestTits and u should get a bike!

  • @ThePiticchio I ride my bike often, I ride legally though.

  • I'm all for people riding their cycles places etc. Fantastic for saving the planet and everything. And as a motorcyclist I understand the danger of being on 2 wheels, but these protests may be going a bit far? I think people need to obey by the laws of the road. Which include riding two abreast. Also, it appears that people are intentionally trying to provoke car drivers, by deliberately stopping when there is nothing in front of them? By all means protest, but maybe try to get a police escort?

  • Hello from Kuala Lumpur ,Malaysia :)

  • You don't deliver a good message by making people angry on the roads. Forcing ideology on others will never work. You just make a bad name for yourselves.

  • "There was much hooting from impatient drivers who seem to think they have more right to the road than cyclists"

We pay for it. You're acting like dickheads. Cycling is a convenient form of transport, not a fucking religion, and there is no binary choice between car and bike - you use whichever you feel is most convenient at the time. Treating London like it's Hanoi isn't going to change that, it's just going to piss people off.

If you really feel the need, protest about something useful.

  • What a bunch of self-righteous wankers.

  • Cyclists are fucking arseholes. When they pay to have a bike on the road, they can have some say. Meanwhile they continue to ride like utter cunts.

    Get fucked.

  • The roads are completly paid for by drivers. With only cyclists there would be no roads and upkeep. Tax cyclists and make it fair giving them more road space and rights? I bet no cyclists will agree to that.

The taxi driver has a job to do. A living to make.

This video just shows cyclists think they are above the law....

  • @Fallent Roads are paid for out of council tax. The funds from so called "road tax" the VED, go into a general taxation pool.

I drive for a living, that doesn't mean I'm an arsehole towards cyclists.

  • @Fallent You are wrong.Roads are paid for out of central taxation. Cars are taxed on emissions, meaning low emission pay no tax just like bikes. There is no such thing as road tax.Nearly all the roads in London were there before the invention of the car. I was held up by a black cab demo the other week. The whole of central London was gridlocked. Unlike these cyclists they were stationary for a couple of hours, engines running, causing even more pollution & congestion than they normally do.

  • @zivkovicable the roads, yes... but the legislation NO.

is those who break the laws and pay for that who afford the legislation over the roads.

So, if a Biker cross a RED light, he should get a FINE as much as the driver does. If a biker runs on a walk road, he should be ticked as well..

Oh! yeha, and bikes should have license plates too, then it whould help to indentify them... since bikers do too comite crimes, like for example punching someone else car... or stoping the trafic...

  • Critical mass is illegal, the cyclists should be arrested for mob action, along with getting tickets for every stop light and stop sign they run.

  • They should make it official. In Paris, they have runs like this for roller bladers and the roads get closed, by police, for them. This happens on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

  • Its not on Christmas Eve it is on 31st, the last Friday of the onth.

  • Going to my first Critical Mass in London tomorrow on Christmas Eve. Looking forward to it. Hope to see a good friendly turnout :-)

  • that looks cool! BIKE POWAH!!!

  • i did a critical mass ride in london casme down on train from telford in 2000, we let scooter n motorcyclists by because they arent part of the problem really, guys dont loose site of what its all about, enjoy the ride enjoy the safety and let other two wheeled machines by ,,,,,, ride on guys, think ill travel down and do another with my daughter,,,, still meeting same place and time?

  • I would drive over the cunts.

  • @daccord1853 Good luck they are surrounded by metal cages though.

  • Seems like the whole event is designed to antagonize people. Why would that turn anyone on to cycling?

  • I like it. Cars clog up streets daily.

Cyclists do it once a month and are vilified.

  • Critical mass is illegal, the cyclists should be arrested for mob action, along with getting tickets for every stop light and stop sign they run.

  • taxi driver actually has a job and wants to make some money. there is nothing wrong with that. that's how the roads are paid for, that's what keeps the country running, not hippies on bicycles.

  • I love cycling and have wanted to go in a Critical Mass ride BUT unfortunately some of the cyclists here are completely out of order.

Allow the Taxi driver trying to earn a wage the chance to move out of the way.

Allow the scooter to ride in peace without disruption..

Critical Mass was about Cyclists riding together in safety not about imposing your view and thoughts on someone else-It was NEVER designed to be a political statement .

Take it back to cyclist riding together for fun!!!

  • Cars are more dangerous, but cyclists are far worse about breaking traffic laws. I see bicyclists here running red lights and stop signs, on the sidewalk, going the wrong way on one-way streets and riding at night without lights almost daily. Here in the US it's illegal to ride or drive straight down the middle lane (the one for making left turns) and these CM idiots do it all the time to block traffic. There's hypocrisy on both sides... when you're this biased it just makes you look uninformed.

  • taxi drivers in london annoy me! they are to confident and angry.

they make me scared 2 ride in london.

  • bicycles will rule hen there is no more fuel

  • Cars are different vehicles to bicycles and can't physically do that and if they did then they would possibly kill a cyclist, which is probably why they don't. If car drivers campaigned on behalf of better cycle facilities, cyclists would be less likely to need to weave between traffic. In addition breathing in the fumes, stuck behind traffic is not pleasant. Also 40% of all journey's in London are made by car, I think this needs to be reduced.

  • Very impressive. Why the beard man was arrested?

and I've heard that UK Prime minister is a bicycle commuter. It's good news.

  • The video of the taxi ramming the bicycle was actually the second I witnessed.

  • On both occasions the drivers were asked for their GREEN BADGE NUMBERS but they refused and were not displayed. Regardless of the cause of both incidents it is a great shame the police did not arrest both drivers for failing to comply with the rules set out in the abstract of Laws instead they opted for a jobs worth operation they used 8 police officers

  • glad I was not rammed.

  • Good overview. What if cyclists were to ram cars every time they were blocked on the road. Out with the bicycle lock, smashing the window in rage. 'You're blocking my path ye b******d.' Psychologically it doesn't register on the brains of those frustrated drivers. 'The rammers', that every single day they take a journey by car, it is contributing to the snarl ups on the road.

  • @sceptic60

Cyclists seem to just ride between cars when there is a traffic jam. What if people in cars did to do the same?
