Cambodia the great civilization. If you would go and study the temple of Angkor Wat, then you would understand more about Khmer. Then you understand deeply about the Khmer ways of life. Khmer developed a fascinating culture. Khmer empire many things, before Siam came to existing . Too all Khmer kids that don't know about our history, this our history. Don't someone tell you the false information about your own people.

this dance is similar to khmer dance because thailand once controlled cambodia for a period of time way back in the day. they took cambodian royal court dancers/artisans into their own to add variety to their performing arts array.
Not to mention Khymer kingdom included part of Laos, Cambodia, China, Thailand, and Bhurma. Stuff from that period and kingdom is strewn all over the entire region.
yes but that was earlier when khmer was powerful as it faded in power its people were driven away and the other cultures(Lao,Thai) dominated the area for centuries past. This is definitely a Thai original!
