They aint like humans where they kill each other for fun. Predators will only kill people for sport who they see as a challenge. They dont usually kill people who are unarmed or pregnant. I think it doesn't because it fits more into the action area as opposed to horror. There are a lot of movies that feature serial killers doing gruesome things but are not called horror. Alien, on the other hand, is horror. Well, science fiction/horror.

When Danny Glover was going after bad guys in Lethal Weapon, it unfolded the same way as what we have here in Predator 2. I ask you this: Which had a better plot? Predator 2 or that absurd Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem? Now AVP:R's plot was totally incoherent, not to mention boring.

You know, I have to wonder. What was this other group of Predators doing the whole time their City Hunter comrade was out hunting? Chilling in the ship? Doing research? I know they may take turns and all, but it just seems like a long time to sit and wait while the other does all the hunting.
It'd get pretty boring waiting inside a ship for over two weeks while your friend goes out to hunt. If I were the other Predators, I'd be out conducting my own hunts elsewhere.

Well, Mike Harrigan was a bit obsessed with killing the Predator by this point, so the adrenaline factor can be taken into account. And the Predator was missing an arm, so he had a disadvantage, not to mention the oversight of Harrigan still holding the smart disc when he was about to stick him with his wristblade. The Predator might have won, if not for that.
@beeniestudios Predators hunting humans is a sport. They collect heads and other body parts for trophies. But if a human kills the Predator on the hunt, the Predators take their fallen brother to the dead chamber and the lead Predator gives that human a trophy, honering him as a warrior.

Well, then you do have some good taste. I half expected you to say Predators was just a copy of the original. And it helps to gain perspective on what others think of certain movies. Things you liked or didn't like. Target audiences and such.

Actually, the Predator named Scarface from Predator: Concrete Jungle was missing his left eye. :P He could have easily put on an eye-patch and went around as Snake or Captain Ron.

Far and away the best Predator movie! I live in a big city, it would be great for him to come to my town and kill bad guys! Danny Glover is a million times more real than Arnold. whose real wife is the owner of Gold's gym. fruit! This movie was the best in the whole series. Who's next! He is too cool!

You know, I have to wonder. What was this other group of Predators doing the whole time their City Hunter comrade was out hunting? Chilling in the ship? Doing research? I know they may take turns and all, but it just seems like a long time to sit and wait while the other does all the hunting.

@bendtx I agree. I always hated how they made old goofy ass danny glover beat a predator, so stupid. They could of gotten someone more beleivable. In part one they had Arnold who himself and his character was much more beleiveable.

Well, Mike Harrigan was a bit obsessed with killing the Predator by this point, so the adrenaline factor can be taken into account. And the Predator was missing an arm, so he had a disadvantage, not to mention the oversight of Harrigan still holding the smart disc when he was about to stick him with his wristblade. The Predator might have won, if not for that.

@beeniestudios Predators hunting humans is a sport. They collect heads and other body parts for trophies. But if a human kills the Predator on the hunt, the Predators take their fallen brother to the dead chamber and the lead Predator gives that human a trophy, honering him as a warrior.
