1:34 i know what we see is only a demonstration(if someone tries to tell me after what i"m about to write) still i would like to say about such a situation that empty hand vs sword is almost sure shot victory for sword. if ever empty handed men wins it just means that he is a SUPREME MASTER of empty handed fighting and the guy holding sword is a SUPREME NERD.

at 1:06 ... that demonstration is pure bullshit.. dont get me wrong, kyokushin is my favorite martial art form, but in real life that katana would cut past your hands and into your skull... same thing goes for those wooden batons

@CrimsonGetsu Depends really, a katana doesn't magically chop through anything it needs a fair swing. If a person caught it early enough and low enough on the blade there would be a fair chance that they could stop it, there simply wouldn't be enough momentum to go through the pressure of both hands pressed together. If he left it later though you'd probably be right, it would skin the palm off one of his hands and lodge in his skull.

The Fukura (edge of the Kassaki) and the Kassaki( the razor edge) plus the Ha (cutting edge) of the Katana was not the point of contact with Mr. Oyama's (now the founder of World Oyama Karate) hands. Mr. Oyama only came into concact with the Katana no Shinogi-ji (the side of the blade). This is why he was not cut badly. No Bullshit just a great understanding of Iaido. Osu

Are you sayimg that Mr. Arniels (I.F.K.) has all of the same kata,kumite, tameshiwari, undo of Kyokushin but is not governed by the IKO (IKO2, Kyokushin Union, Shin Kyokushin) and he is the Kancho of the I.F.K.?

Thank you for your reply. I had wrongfully thought that Mr. Arniels lefted the IKO and that was when he joined with the IFK and that was his parent org. But you are 100% correct the BKK is still apart of Kyokushin and a member of IFK. Thank you for helping me to put it all together. Osu
