Ahhh... this was my first pokemon game!

to gameboy advanced! I love to play this still, i like ds games.

but nothing is better than this. IT HAD THE COOLEST POKEMON EVER.

A bunch of the new pokemon looks like like wierd buffalos and ducks!

Of course, its always cool pokemon in new generations, but in this generation ever pokemon was cool! i am 13 in march and i still love pokemon and i foralways will!

to all hatin on kanto: isnt the point of a game to be challenging? games are supposed to be challenging otherwise they get boring really fast...kanto was my favorite because of the challenges...took me 2 weeks to beat kanto, rest of em i beat in like 5 days or less...i still play kanto because its fun, johto games are good too...hoenn was alright...sinnoh was meh...unova all thats good on that one is some of the music

Hoenn, Johto, Kanto, Sinnoh, Unova

I usually take a week or two to beat a pokemon game. Unova took me 3 DAYS!

Sinnoh was the slowest, but it gave us the Frontier Brain song that I love.

Kanto has really awesome T.V. shows and some songs, but was hard.

Johto was Super awesome, but I don't exactly love the Pokemon.

Hoenn has Awesome music, and was just epic.

The Hoenn games were my favourite series by far. It was the biggest jump in Pokemon games, and I've never had as much fun with any other game in the series as I did with Ruby/Emerald.

3rd gen was best. it had pixelated but still sharp graphics. an epic soundtrack. the perfect amount of content. DIVE!! plenty of different environments and it is the perfect medium between the enjoyable gameplay of the old games and the graphics of the new games. best. gen. EVAR!!!

@Sdeded I found the album " Ghosts " by the band " Rage " quite fitting for Emerald, so i play it on an emulator at 300% speed with that album running. I never really listened to the soundtrack from the beginning, it annoyed me. I listened to the soundtrack then on youtube, and a few tracks were outstanding, if it weren't for that album i would be quite happy with the soundtrack. I ignored diving.

Hoenn>Johto>Kanto>Unova>Sinnoh

Sinnoh was bullshit but gave me lucario

Unova was too easy

Kanto started it off but was a little hard

Johto was awesome

@hippiesharks123 Actualy I was impressed with the storyline of my new white version. Sadly there's not much to do post game. That's where emerald comes in with its super awesome, super hard battle frontier and contests. Sinnoh contests were screwed up. You couldn't make combos or use jamming moves plus pokeblock was much easier and fun to make and it didn't hurt my wrist =(. Instead they made a cheap dancing system. The dressup I think was the only good addition though.

And why the heck does @pokenerd999998 not stock up on enough revives and full restores, I would have at least 25 of both, even with a team of lvl-100's, just to play safe.

Some players completely drain their reserves because they don't have true proper battle strategy, or some just want the challenge of having few recovery items. Oh, I agree with your sample party. Not many ever really get past that. Though believe it or not, in some rare cases, a Pokemon that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye but inferior to a more powerful Pokemon will sometimes triumph. Ah, damn. Not enough comment space.

@TheArwingMaster To be honest, Single-Player Pokémon is ridiculously easy. I think back when I was 8, I played Pokémon FireRed with a, at best, mediocre team, but I still managed to pull off a win against Blue (albeit with a lot of Full Restores and Revives) It's really when people start to enter the Multi-Player, Competitive Battling scene when such strategy matters.
