  • LOL re: "fan girl love"

    I've been there!

  • I'm an outspoken atheist but videos like this I'd like to see more of.

  • i got the impression that Phil had lulled TFP into an IM-friendship then fucked him. words i used with Phil (in comments to the relevant clip). He said he IM'ed TFP twice, and said once he'd save him if the house was on fire. i can only take him at his word, it is also written on his channel, yet still in these video's TFP suggest a more in-depth relationship? not that it takes away from this good set of 5 video's, oh and i liked frizibiesandflipflops all over the place.

  • I've been trying to do intellectual discourse with theists for longer then you've been alive. I'm tired of it...it goes no where, gets no where and 'they' keep using the same rehashed crap I heard in the 80's. I am not impressed.

Jack is one of the worst offenders too. His latest response to someone (Tooltime) countering his arguments is "they hate me because I'm Christian". This is nothing new for Jack either. It seems like he simply does not listen at all nor does he care to discuss.

  • I remember you saying you had a fangirl crush on Gisburne too. If older British guys are your thing, then it makes me sad that we're about the same age.

  • your background is the raddest i've seen in the whole of the interwebs.

  • It's actually a coded warning about the coming hamster apocalypse.

  • Nikki is abundantly empathetic.

    Why is that?

Is it because she has a LARGER world view? She is a great moderator.

  • I think that if a video has a really provocative and outrageous title, and then the video's actual content isn't as outrageous, then it actually backfires, because the viewer feels cheated.

Years ago, I was intrigued by those sci-fi paperback novels with the exciting, lurid paintings on the covers. But when I actually read those novels, I was disappointed that they failed to be as exciting as the covers: sometimes, the cover depicted a scene not even in the book. Truth in advertising, plz. :-)

  • Yeah, those "drama" videos, where people attack each other's personal lives, waste too much time and cyberspace. I think economists have a term for that: "deadweight loss." Those insulting, personal "drama" videos are amusing in a "dark humor" sort of way in the short term, but they ultimately end up making me feel empty; it's sad that so many grudges are held.

I wish people's debate videos would stick to the issues. :-)
