The whole thing about afrika was started when halo was just a concept on the forums. I beleive the forum user said " what if the origin of life was in afrika and suddenly we where no longer alone" this was a key fundemental in making halos story

I love to re-examine cut scenes like this, after a while you realize a bunch of stuff. Like the fact rookie is asleep under the stairway at 0:43 like in the beginning of the game.
