Well I guess there are a number of reasons but essentially because it's a music festival which provides a large number of performers at a fraction of the price you would have to pay to see them on stage individually at their own gigs. Other than that.. what else is there to do in tassie for new years. Hang with the bogans down the waterfront, or pay to sit in the Taste with hardly any entertainment what so ever.

Traffic, what a drama.. bit more than 5 hours, we were in the worst camp site for exiting. It was entertaining though, group of girls and boys fighting over who has right of way, standing infront of each others cars refusing to move. CB radio provided a bit of fun aswel. Can't wait for this year. 5th time around.
