used a little restraint. It's only one soloist vs. that huge chorus and

orchestra.

Finora credevo che la Zylis-Gara (dal vivo con Giulini) fosse la migliore: la Cuberli è molto, molto vicina a strapparle la testa della classifica... :-)

Why did that conductor get so crazy with the tempo at the end?

Fine singer...shit conducting. He pays no mind to the fact that she can't do anything with this tempo and just soldiers on. The aria lacks momentum and drama. UGH.
