@bookmarkthis It is true that the title is a slight misnomer, however I thought this fit better on a tshirt, and was also intended more to directly reference Miss Ellsworth's prior work.
@bookmarkthis Delay and reverb have been used interchangeably for a long time. Either because of the recognition of delay in both, or not knowing the difference.
@mrmikerotch I would disagree the terms are used interchangeably by anyone with even novice knowledge of music/audio production. Not trying to be rude but i'd say the reason people confuse the terms is because they read misleading info like the title of this video.
@bookmarkthis I'm not saying that they should be used interchangeably, I'm just saying they are by most people. I agree that they are very much not the same, but the average person can't tell the difference.
@mrmikerotch Connect the source directly to the head, as the same effect won't happen with the built in hardware. However, if you experiment with that, let me know.
this device was obviously inspired by the Jeri Ellsworth video. I hope to build some automation and put up documentation in case others are interested in building their own audio floppy units.
@thewii552 Using an ATX Power supply, +5v, +12v, and -12v.

Why is this labeled reverb? it sounds like a tape echo, short delay, slap back style, with lots of regeneration/feedback.

Do you have to have the source come directly onto the head, or can you use pin 22 (or some such)
