Good to know the SST can take that power. In the UK they have only allowed the 300 and 330 to have dual clutch transmission, the 360/400 are manual only. Tempting to get a 330 and remap :)

Technically, no, its different from a normal automatic. From what I understand, its essentially two 3 speed manuals "meshed together" with 2 clutches, operated by computer controlled hydraulics. wiki mitsubishi tc-sst

Sort of... it's a twin clutch transmission with the clutch pedal action hydraulically automated. Even gears on one clutch plate, odd gears on another clutch plate. No reverse gear, but rather something that will just reverse 1st gear. Shifts are lightening quick.
