uh no it was made for PS3 and Xbox 360. Face it, it won't be long before there is a goodbye to the PS2. When companies make newer versions of an older console the older console is over a few years later.
It would be a great addition to the Wii. It's just a shame that the game is not actually that good of a Resi game. It's a good action game, but no where near as good as previous games. If it does come to Wii and you're expecting it to be like 4 be warned. Be careful what you wish for. I'm only saying this because if Wii fuck this pretty average game up, it wont go down to well.

Everyone who says it's not coming for wii think about it. Re4, umbrella chronicles, and darkside chronicles have great graphics it won't be as good as xbox graphics but the gamplay will be great. honestly ive played RE5 on the 360 and RE4 on the wii and gamecube, it is my honest opinion that if the game is ported to wii it will provide a much more immersive experience than the original xbox 360 version as the wii version of RE4 is better than the gamecube version. this game should be ported to the wii. i know i would be one of the first people in north america to get my hands on it.

dead rising on the wii wasn't as good because it was rushed.the zombies would barely follow you.Now if they the game was worked some more and they used a new form of the resident evil 4 engine the game would have been way better in graphics and funner gameplay.
graphics are very important, if the game looks real then you'll be more into the game, the gameplay will seem intense with right-in-your-face action.
everytime i play bad graphic games i lose interest really fast, its just not appealing at all. i have a wii and man does the graphic capability suck! It cant even play DVDs! how pathetic is that! the only good thing about it is the movement of it (wii remote, sensor bar etc.) which lets you "interact" with the game. but thats it!
perhaps i am, gameplay and graphics have to co-exist. if one is missing then the whole thing just collapses. which is whats happening with mostly all wii games. thats just how it goes in my view.

That was a poor lazy port. Even RE4 on PS2 looks 10x times better (the PS2 version of RE4 pales in comparison to the GC version lightning/effects wise...pretty much a watered down version).

agreed ive been playing RE4 on wii atm the bosses they need to sort out to i mean 1 shot with a rocket launcer? cmon (i play easy as i cbb to complete it 3 times again and get another 2m for special weapons) and they should also let you be able to change difficulty once you completed it

forget it, there will not be a RE 5 game for the wii. Ther will be, however, a RE 2 remake for the wii only. It will be an on-rail shooter with the same graphics engine as RE 5 (that means cooler and better).
yep, it will have similar gameplay as UC (on-rails, button interactions, two-player co-op, etc). I just found some new info on it. Apparently it's not going to be an actual re-make of the original RE2. The plot will differ from the original story and I believe there will be new locations. I'm guessing this is why RE2 was not included in the Umbrella Chronicles. Still, I'm so going to get this get, no doubt about it.

the gamecube had the 2 best RE games in the entire series in RE1 (remake) and RE4. True gamers know, as long as it plays it well, it doesen't matter if doesen't look as good as on the other system.
With using "Quantum 3" it would be with the same grafics like on the xbox, inform better and see "The conduit" for example using the same software and how that game looks like.

They need to make a REsident Evil 5 for the wii because it would be awesome for the wii remote. The graphics may not be the same but gameplay would be better and plus they made a Resident Evil 4 and a REsident evil Chronicals so why not make a Resident Evil 5 for the wii.

its more fun to play dead rising on the xbox 360 than the wii version.
if your seeing the screens of re5 right now get prepared to see a major downgrade and it might be a harder to play because scenary really makes the game good.

graphics are very important, if the game looks real then you'll be more into the game, the gameplay will seem intense with right-in-your-face action.
everytime i play bad graphic games i lose interest really fast, its just not appealing at all. i have a wii and man does the graphic capability suck! It cant even play DVDs! how pathetic is that! the only good thing about it is the movement of it (wii remote, sensor bar etc.) which lets you "interact" with the game. but thats it!

That was a poor lazy port. Even RE4 on PS2 looks 10x times better (the PS2 version of RE4 pales in comparison to the GC version lightning/effects wise...pretty much a watered down version).

In RE4 not only did you feel isolation and dispare and being trapped but trapped by an entire villiage! all you could do is RUN - thats real FEAR

I like the company Nintendo in general but I like Sony as well. I personally think the PS3 trumps the Wii...10/10 for the PS3and I give the wii an 8.9/10 =) I don't know much about the 360 but I don't really like it.

forget it, there will not be a RE 5 game for the wii. Ther will be, however, a RE 2 remake for the wii only. It will be an on-rail shooter with the same graphics engine as RE 5 (that means cooler and better).

yep, it will have similar gameplay as UC (on-rails, button interactions, two-player co-op, etc). I just found some new info on it. Apparently it's not going to be an actual re-make of the original RE2. The plot will differ from the original story and I believe there will be new locations. I'm guessing this is why RE2 was not included in the Umbrella Chronicles. Still, I'm so going to get this get, no doubt about it.

the gamecube had the 2 best RE games in the entire series in RE1 (remake) and RE4. RE4 was even better on cube from reports so why are Capcom so lazy? the WII is the best selling console around abd thegame would sell like hotcakes the WII limitations are not an issue to the fans just make it at least comparible to RE4 in looks and even strip down the amount of levels but BRING RESIDENT EVIL 5 TO WII!!!!!

The Wii just hasnt had enough developers wanting to make a game for it. Re4 really made ppl see that mature hardcore games can be made great on the wii.
