hey i have a jackson rr3 and a kramer 422sm and am wanting to get something simple with no locking nut..... im tired of the whole floating bridge problem, so is that a american or just standard, oh and my question is can it shredd.( hows the action down south)? nice guitar

This is the american Standard HSS strat. And yes, it really can shred. I love the neck, its fast. And the action is awsome. Really it is a very good guitar. I play some metal with it. If you want check out, myspace(dot)com/dynamokiev , the last song's solo was done with this guitar, and it is a metal song.
