@teebee1984 Are you deaf? His voice is so unique, that's why people listen to him... His voice isn't smooth and perfect.... It's gravely and real. That's what matters.
Hey guys, if you have a spare minute could you check out some of my covers on my channel and give some feedback. It sucks to have to advertise like this but it seems like the only way to get exposure. Thanks if you do check it out...
I'm fourteen-years-old and completely ashamed of the auto-tuned-ten-word 'songs' of my generation. And as for most modern love songs, the writers could learn a thing or two from Bob Dylan, and he wasn't even know to be the romantic type.
@KeeleyCanFlyy Who exactly are calling auto tuned songs "songs of your generation"? Or are you just bitching for no reason? If you don't like those songs then don't listen to them.
As in the shit I have to listen to on the bus on my way to school which is pretty inescapable because I'm not having my fucking iPod stolen, or the fact that I have to listen to them in the car because it's what my brothers turn on. You can't escape the crap because it's everywhere. And the 'auto-tuned songs' of my generation are from bands like Lady Ga-Ga, Ke$ha, LMFAO, Usher, ect. You know a lot of kids my age actually think Bohemian Rhapsody is from Glee?
@KeeleyCanFlyy ahahah Oh my god! That's too bad!D: I've seen Glee before, when my sister saw it on streaming... and actually I don't dislike their voice, but I can't believe that someone think "Bohemian Rhapsody by Glee" O.o (my gosh, we're talking about queen: QUEEN! and I love queen, also if i am fifteen!) However, I'd agree with you: I can't stand the music made by new stars of music as Justin Bieber (is IMPOSSIBLE call him a singer!!). But you can always listen bob dylan =D
Bob Dylan is one of my biggest musical and lyrical influences. His music doesn't really become exceptionally sophisticated until his later years, but his early material and lyrical innovations really influences my lyrics and style, as well. And i'm hoping some of you would be interested in giving some of my songs a shot(:
I only have two uploaded, but i'm looking for some feedback from the fanbase i wish to capture, because i know Dylan fans are open-minded. Thank you for your little time (:
Great version. This is from 1981, the "child's balloon" bootleg. My favorite live version ever -- though the 1976 one is pretty sweet too. Check out "hold the fort for what it's worth" for that one.
@BilisNegra Fine boned, pale, inquisitive expression, similar eyes... I know what you mean, I think it's a similar expression to that Bowie once posed in a famous photo, though I can't remember which one right now.
@FriedEggsWithChips I can't single out this moment now a definite moment or picture either, but I know I've seen something comparable... Like how you got to understand and express what I was getting at! (from something written by a non-native speaker of the English language, harder still ;-) ).
Greetings from Serbia.
