No problem. Yes the muscle weighs more than fat. Look up akaline and acid balance. (great info) This has happened to me many times. The best thing to do is stay away from the scale and monitor how you feel and look. Check out the body sculpting bible for women. (great book) You're doing great. Stay beautiful :)
@mixedwithcinnamon Well I'm glad it's not just me! lol. Thanks for your comment and info. I knew muscle weighed more than fat...I just didn't think it'd be so apparent this early. I'll have to look up alkaline/acid base.
I agree with the water retention theory and the fact that muscle weighs more than fat. Keep your chin up, I figure even if I loss inches I'm happy. Just remember your doing something good for your body and it will pay off in one way or another. Be Blessed!!
@NaTUraLeTeXTuRe Quite possibly...that's a LOT of water retention though. I'm hoping that's all it is so I can just load up on the H20 and flush myself out!
@NotoriousLYNappy1 That so odd that you mentioned calibrating the scale. This Wednesday, I actually placed my 8-lb weight on the scale to see if it was actually accurate...the scale read 8 lbs 0 oz. So I guess it's correct. I'm glad to see the changes in the mirror, but it's frustrating nonetheless.....
@NotoriousLYNappy1 No change in salt intake, except for the food in N.O. And I always drink about 4-6 bottles of water a day. So other than the past 2 days, salt & water intake have been the same.
Get your thyroids checked.. It normally has to do with unwanted weight gain.. Thanks for the video

If you are seeing the changes in the mirror....then the scale is just ya enemy girl!
Maybe focus on your measurements instead of your weight. I'm thinking it's muscle that you are putting on in weight.
If you are really concerned, you can try resetting your scale every week or so just so make sure it's still calibrated correctly.
