I work for a company that refurnished all the Abbey, Alliance & Leicester, and Bradford & Bingly branches. We're now storing the bricks Santander used to make this advert. There's not that many, it fills up about 30 cubic metres of space. There are the bricks that you see people carrying, and a giant "hello" that is used on posters. The hello comes of a pallet for each letter, each letter standing around 3 metres high.

The car driving across the bridge is actually a BMX painted red, with green dots on to help create the CGI.

An average sized Santander Lego brick is about 10 inches high, 2 feet long and a foot across.

It's on about building your future with Santander. Also three bank have all merged into one so it like building a new furture under the new bank that's being created. That's why at the begin of ad it say 'Hello we are Santander'.

Just to clear it up, as of Jan 1st 2010 we sponsor the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team, and Lewis Hamilton the person. So I think, unless we pick him up, that JB will be in any of our adverts this year.

Our 3 biggest markets are Brazil, Spain and the UK (in that order), thus why we have a driver representing each of them. FM for Brazil, FA for Spain and LW for the UK.

Hope this clears this up.

Personally I'm more surprised that McLaren are keeping the Santander sponsorship and close association. Santander signed a 5 year contract to sponsor Ferrari. Spanish bank and Spanish world champion driver. Perhaps in other countries Santander will use Alonso.
