  • JJ just rose a zillion notches in my book.

  • Cool Afro sheen commercial; back in the days when black folk wore their own hair. Cute dancers too

  • who names their child Kansas i would have been beaten up in school with a name like that

  • this is the best video description ever

  • I like the plaintiff. Her accent is so fyne!

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL at the ad at the end!

  • haha the husband looks angry but he's not?!

  • Afro sheeeen!!! lol Funny advert

  • This is hte best ending ever!

  • This was honestly one of the best Judge Judy episodes. Great upload. One question though. What the heck is up with video after the case?

  • @halfonit I add a vintage commercial on to the end of every case (well most of the cases, the early ones I didn't, but the last several months I have). It's for entertainment value only, not for selling anything and I am not compensated for showing the commercial BTW. Some people have accused me of profiting from these ads, but I can assure you, I do not.

  • @reymatt76 Hey, I like the commercials at the end. I can remember some of them from when I was a kid. It's a real kick to see them again. Some of them are like "I can't believe we thought that was cool". Many thanks for putting in the effort.

  • @Marty933 My pleasure. If y'all (you and everyone else out there) have any commercial requests (or TPC/JJ case requests) write me a private email to my inbox here at YouTube. I will try to look for it and see what I can do. I'm running out of ideas here, so requests are actually helpful

  • @reymatt76 I love watching these old comercials. I have a big collection of old radio comercials myself. Thanks for adding these on.

  • i think granma is thinking for her future

not emotionally, i think she just thinks of her old age and how it would be nice to have a younger relative she can semi-trust to take her to and from hospital

securing an asset for her old age thats all

  • @MrUlutraman I think you're sorely mistaken if you think that. She obviously doesn't even live in the same state as the grandchild, much less the same town. What happened to you for you to think something like that. Where you molested or something? Is that why you don't trust people have true feelings for their kin or is there another reason?

  • @rebelnomo

lol what made you reply? shore spot? are you like this grandma?

its the truth nomatter how much it hurts, women think of themselves first and foremost and then everyone else, to give they must first receive

or in grandmas case, expect to receive by making an "investment" into someone who ll take care of them in the fut

  • OhMG! Beaded braids! Hated those things, Mom thought they were great, I freaking hated them, and I still do!!

Hopefully Grandma is able to see grandkid again, seems like a very sweet woman.

  • Good ending :] Defendant seems like a good mum but just tried to be cheeky and forget about the debt. but yer good ending

  • I actually breathed a sigh of relief during the closing statements. Some people might have done the opposite after having been chastised on national television but she doesn't seem like a bad mother at all.

  • @psychee1 agree. Thank you. :))

  • The defendant is a cutie pie. Perfect girl next door.

  • Good ending.Thank you.

  • ...That Afro Sheen commercial! Holy Shiite...they actually had them TAP DANCING???? Surprised they didn't have people of color shining shoes while grinning maniacally in that advert too! "Bess, you iz mah werman now!"

  • the defendant is sexy but i got the feeling she'd murder me in my sleep for leaving the toilet seat up

  • AFROSHEEN

  • AFROSHEEN <3

  • The defendant's husband is hot <3

    (hot angry sex)

  • @magicicle I know, young married men are my favorite meal. You know they're good, because if they weren't, no bitch would ever marry them for the rest of their lives. And they're always so appreciative after you show them what a blowjob is supposed to feel like. :)

  • @reymatt76 It's one thing to fantasize about every dude on the show like you do on all your videos, but to proudly admit to committing adultery? You should be on Judge Judy too!

  • @reymatt76 I got my first good blowjob after 4 girlfirends. OMGGG :D :D :D

  • @reymatt76 you are naughty. :))

  • @reymatt76 looooooool

  • @reymatt76 LOL. :))

  • what a peaceful hearing! :0 i love how they were both honest. especially the defendant. shows they still respect/love each other.

  • JJ handled this one well.

  • Dayum, that afrosheen commercial is like a musical for shaving gel.

  • Mrs. Cobb seems like such a nice lady, I'd love to have her in my family

  • omg how cute is the grandma <3

  • What a marvelous case! great people!!! and she is hot :P

  • Why can't grandma go to Kansas? Why does the child have to go to LA?

  • @mugwump666 OK, I'm not sure where the mother lives, but her first name is KANSAS, so that's why I called her Mrs. Kansas. In the south, they sometimes address people using Mr./Mrs. and then just the first name instead of the last name, especially when the last name is not known or it is a child addressing an adult.

  • @reymatt76 So people in south would call me Mr. Mikael? Wtf haha Note to myself: never move to south of USA because of stupidity.

  • @reymatt76 Thanks for the explanation. I still think that the Grandma should go to visit the child, not the other way around. Is that another southern tradition, that the grandchild has to visit and live temporarily with the Grandma?

  • @mugwump666 There's nothing wrong with them trading visits, for instance,at times the grandmother can visit the grandchild, then,at times, the grandchild can be taken to visit grandma.Two-way street.

  • @reymatt76 That is interesting. I didn't realise that adults would be addressed like that. I do know that "Miss" or "Master" plus first name is common among children in some parts of the world, but I would have found calling an adult by his first name to be awkward, with or without the miss/mr./mrs.

  • @mugwump666 Because it is perfectly natural to send your kids to spend time with their grandparents at their house. The woman never said she wouldn't go to see the child, the mom refused to let her see the grandchild. Btw, the girl's name is Kansas Branshaw, she's not from Kansas.

  • lol the mother is like anyother single parent, full of it.

  • @nolifemerc What kind of ignorant statement is that? Moron

  • @GulfVetSAF sorry mom ur hot

  • I need afrosheen for my pubes.

  • Mmm, the defendant is yummy.

  • lol I see that you're not discriminative when it comes to commercials. Nice, Haha! Afrosheen!!

  • Comment removed

  • Damn that new hubby's face was SPEWING CONTEMPT

  • By the way, I love the commercials.

  • How frigging reasonable (eventually). Where do I find the videos with the unreasonable trailer trash now?

  • It's very, very rare that the litigants ever express the opinion that they actually learned something from Judge Judy, and even rarer that they indicate they've learned their lesson. I respect the Defendant for the fact that they recognized their mistake and will rectify it, and didn't try to make excuses. If only more litigants would do that. Note to all future litigants on the show: If Judge Judy gives you advice, follow it. She's usually right.

  • @TheTubePortal Very true. Her words of wisdom usually bounce right off the thick bony skulls of the litigants. On another note: "Kansas"? Really?

  • why did a shave my hair !!!!

  • OMG AFROSHEEN lol

  • some of the best advice given in a calm and smooth and heartfelt manner by judge judy

  • @thefancychicken She's not an unreasonable bitch like a lot of people always say on here. She's only a bitch to the people who deserve it and I think she really understood that the mother was afraid of the bio. father, but knew that she would probably listen to reason. She also has grandkids herself and knows what the grandchild means to the grandmother. I hope the mother did the right thing in this case, the grandmother seems like a great lady, and I bet she cooks damn good, bein from La.

  • I have to admit I have been watching your well edited jj videos all day and I kind of found your commercial a little annoying (that’s why I am glad they are at the end) but the afrosheen clip really made my day!!! I will be watching more of your commericals

  • The first half was JJ about to really tear, then JJ got what the situation was REALLY about and wow the second half was a powerful JJ giving the best advice softly. LIKE this episode =)

  • Afro Sheen Rocks! This case did end really well.

  • Afro Sheen is Charlie's black brother.

  • Wow so cold hearted. This is family, the grandma seems to of had a great bond with her grandson, and then in the snap of a finger she doesn't hear from him for a year. Like judy said how would you feel if someone took someone you loved with all your heart whom you saw everyday, just was to be out of your life forever. I'm surprised the grandma didn't cry in this. Ouch, I hope she gets to see him

  • @Ilovecassi100 I don't know how cold hearted she is, if the father did kidnap the kid maybe she really was afraid to let him go 1,000 miles away to see his family. But there's no excuse for her not to pay for the car. And I hope like hell she does the right thing and let's her son see his grandmother, and get to eat that good food they got in La. Kansas ain't the same.

  • The daughter in law is gorgeous really!! And yeah she seemed to learn her lesson :D

  • The defendant and her husband should be ashamed. A child deserves the love of their grandmother or any other member of the family. So long as they are safe and responsible, and by all accounts the grandmother seems to be more than fit.

  • Fuck this! It made me cry ;_:

  • Why are people attacking the husband? He said at the end he was going to stand by his wife's decision, and that he agreed with JJ. This case is a nice change of pace from the usual types of people. Its nice to see the softer side of JJ once in a while.

  • Afro Sheen sucks

  • Mrs. Kansas Branshaw is hot!

  • Comment removed

  • Afro Sheeeeeeen :D LOL

  • This is the first JJ case, that brought tears to my eyes..

  • That husband needs that look wiped off of his face.

  • Afro Sheeeen!

  • a mother would have a right to take her child away from a 'bad' daddy,,,if it included the dad's mom,,,then so be it. She didn't marry her motherinlaw.

  • I did NOT come here to see reasonable people!

  • Damn this is an episode where JJ said some really beautiful and (eye burning) thought provoking things. The plaintiff was a saint. The defendant seems like good people also, she just didn't want her child put in jeopardy.

  • AFROSHEEN!

  • WoW normal people!

  • defendant is cute mmmmmm!

  • @keto6789 I know! I dated her!

  • what a nice ending.

  • that afro advert WOULD NOT FUKING DIEEEEEEEE....AFROOO SHEEEEN!!!!

  • Oh man! That Afro Sheen commercial brought back memories! Of Saturdays, hanging out, watching Sout Train. *Sigh*

  • Wow. Both parties behaved with dignity. And both parties had a brain. Grandmother seems nice, as does mum and step-dad. I hope they work it out for the sake of them all. Grandmother deserves her little grandchild.

  • you should really put the date this was originally aired in please :)

  • @wabblum99 If I know the date it was aired, I'll give it. If I don't, then I won't put it. Such is the case in this episode.

  • Defendant is a cutie

  • I TOTALLY LOVE THAT COMMERCIAL AT THE END! IT'S 100 TIMES BETTER THAN THE COMMERCIALS ON T.V TODAY. I don't know why i'm yelling... lol

  • sad this came to court...

  • These commercials makes me wanna play Mafia II or purchase La Noire

  • Defendant is incredibly gaw-jiss

  • Aww a happy ending for a change.

  • i don't think he looked angry

  • @TKOZLIKT YEA MORE POSSESSIVE sorry 4 the caps

  • they went on to form the band "Diddy Dirty Money."

  • REYMATT76 - I absolutely love your descriptive remarks in the description. You have the soul of a poet!

  • What!? Reasonable people? Where on earth did the producers find them?

  • @jlewisda This is unacceptable...

  • @foroparapente Why unacceptable?

  • If she's afraid of the ex-husband kidnapping the child again maybe the grandma can come over to her house for visits, and during the visits she can give her a check towards the car payments until it's all paid off.

  • charlie uses his own sheen

  • AFRO SHEEN!!

  • It's frustrating to see attractive women who feel the need to be with controlling insecure men.

  • That looks like one awesome grandma- I bet she makes some killer southern comfort food!

  • Her husband is controlling her.

  • @Norwegian733 Yeah - bet it was him who stopped Granny seeing the boy.

  • @Norwegian733 Yup! She has a habit of picking psychos, and he's just the new one to enter her life. I think she gets too involved in trying to please her man or something. YOu know, those women who sacrifice everything all to make their husbands happy, except the harder they try, the less it works. Then the husband goes crazy and it ends up being too much, so they look for exactly the same type of man once again. And the cycle continues until they're too old.

  • @reymatt76 Yeah, you nailed it.

  • @reymatt76 You sir, have wisdom which rivals that of judge judy herself.

  • @ShaolinViolin I wish it were my income that rivaled Judy Judy's, not my wisdom so much.

  • The grandma is a nice woman. Hope she can see him again. JJ has said before that children are entitled to largest circle of love and care afforded to them.

  • Great job JJ. I think the mom will do the right thing. She's seems a nice girl just afraid of her ex. Can't really blame her for that if he tried to kidnap the kid. Hope everything works out well for them

  • Just an FYI : before this show JJ was a judge in family court, so this is what shes spent more of her career doing. I know we all love her no nonsense bitch attitude that she has for this show, and its great. But she spent her life trying to mend families and put children in the best possible situations. You could tell from the beginning she had a completely different disposition, definitely much softer. and its because this is about a childs life. And this is why I love judge judy :D

  • Contains No Fluorocarbons

    Good job!

  • both parties seem like decent folks who actually listened with open ears to jj...

  • she's hot

  • WOW!!! I liked this episode! =D Very sweet and a defendant FOR ONCE admitted wrong.

  • Commercials were really long back then.

  • @TheSdtn Nope. Just 60 seconds! Most ads are 15 or 30 seconds though - yesterday and today.

  • @reymatt76 Well that add and a few others on your videos are pretty long compared to anything you would see on TV today. A 60 second add by today's standards is massive. Thanks for the uploads.

  • LOVE THE COMMERCIAL!!!

  • oh my god i am in love with the defendant.. shes so beautiful..!!

  • Blax hav differnt hair. That ain't racist.

  • Thanks, AFROSHEEN!

  • Thank you for the uploads! I love the commercials at the end too :) Ahhh takes me back.

  • @thehouso oh man, Hahaha ... that was so mean, but just as funny.

  • Well I do declare that I love your description!!:)

  • OMG! These commercials are the best part of all of these videos!

  • Fahhhhk, the defendant is such a MILF!

  • fuck yeah, afro sheen!

  • Duuude, seriously what's with the retro commercials? :D

  • @KuDastardly It's original. it's different. Just a little though.

  • @reymatt76 I like the old commercials. And we do still have piggly wigglies down here in La. You should be a writer if you aren't already.

  • @reymatt76 I like them. They're the cherry on top of the sunday.

  • @reymatt76 I think the retro commercials are very interesting. I posted a couple on my channel too!

  • @alanheath2 Uh oh competition. You better back off! Haha, j/k. Good. Yes, there are lots and lots of British ones posted as well. I just like watching them because I can actually remember some of them from my youth, as it trails farther and farther behind me and death looms closer with every waking second. What year did they stop advertising cigarettes on TV in the UK?

  • @reymatt76 I cannot remember cigarette advertising on the TV. I can remember when warnings on tar started appearing on billboards which would have been around 1979. As long as I can remember all adverts had "Every pack carries a government health warning."

I think most of us like these things that take us back a bit. I assumed you were British (given that this film has ITV2 on it!)

I don't see other people as being competition! Surely it is complementary?

  • @alanheath2 Yes, of course! Actually out of all the JJ posters, I'm probably the least prolific with only 3 or 4 dozen clips while everyone else posts like hundreds! But I interact a lot with the viewers more, so perhaps for some people that compensates for my crummy variety of clips (although for me it wouldn't!). But no, not in competition here at all! I started doing it jus to keep track of my fave episodes and then peple started watching it and before you knew it... Thanks for watching!

  • @reymatt76 I am grateful you have put up what you have! I only discovered JJ a couple of months ago and now am working my way through all the longer episodes I can find!

  • Did i just hear "it was wrong" ... first time i've heard that from a defendant !!!

  • Your description is hilarious.

  • LOL... I remember seeing this commercial when I was a kid.

  • wow. decent people on judge judy. sweeps week??

  • I like the pretty defendant. Near the end of the case, it was evident that she's got a good heart to go along with her good looks.

  • the husband looks so mean

  • The commercial at the end is a cracker. It reminds me of the joke, Why do negros always have sex on the brain? Cause they have pubic hair on their heads!

  • @thehouso Having pubic hair on the head would be far superior to having an empty space in the head, which is the ailment racists like you suffer from.

  • They all seem like good people. I hope it works out.

Also, LOVE the commercial. I think I remember it when it was new!

  • @mediumrare415 except the husband, he looks evil

  • Wow. Judge Judy's comments to the Defendant almost made me cry. That was amazing. Judge Judy is a phenomenal person.

  • All I have to say for this video is.....wait.....wait for it.....: Yay, Afro-Sheen!!!

  • Its telling that the defendant knows she is wrong cause she can't look at the judge cause she is ashamed...

  • JUST A TIP

THE ONE WITH THE MOST PAPER ON THEIR TABLE IS ALWAYS THE WINNER

  • @SergeantPepper99 "He with the most paperwork wins the case." Yes!

  • Afrosheen......bitch please!

  • Sad case.

  • Plaintiff's accent is annoying and I'm from Bronx NYC.

  • @qwandiddy haha I'm from the Bronx as well

  • Afro Sheen used to make the best commercials.

  • I like grandma's accent. She's from Robeline, La. The movie Steel Magnolias was filmed near there.

FYI: I've used Afro Sheen. It's the best.

  • Kansas Branshaw and her husband rock. Thank you for making this show less miserable sometimes : )

  • That ending was so sweet! and lol @ Afro Sheen!

  • "saturn a 2000 saturn".........thts was soothing

  • I've never heard this accent anywhere in the state LMAO
