Just re-run the pipe from the toilet into that drum in your shed or use the opening of your fuel tank as a toilet. Either way you're doing essentially the same thing. Carbon neutral? Guess again pal. The deisel engine burns anything flamable period. That's why it was marketed primarily to farmers at turn of the 20th century. That's also why turning a deisel engine into a bio-deisel engine is almost meaningless. Now, turn a gas engine into a bio-deisel & then you have something.
If you're such an expert, you should learn how to spell DIESEL. My van won't run on shit. If it was petrol I could convert it to LPG, ethanol or natural gas [in which case I could build a methane digester for the toilet], but all of these options would cost more than the van is worth. Recycled chip fat is the nearest we have to CO neutral fuel at this time; at least I'm doing ait, what are you doing apart from talking shit?
Oh gees. You're coming at me w/ how I spelled a word over my comment on recycled fat chips? It seems you've already researched the idea of recycling sediment. Besides that I'd say that a new headlight may be more than the van is worth. I'm pro-solar, wind, & wave. There's a growing number of companies that convert autos to solar powered vehicles actually & I'm looking to take a car to one of them.
Now why don't ya just give this guy a pat on the back for where he's at and what he's done so far because that'd be the more decent thing to do. It'd be much better then just coming right out of nowhere and doing what ya did.

Awesome... love that.., want that. In Holland we have to pay (a lot) of tax on anything you put in your fuel tank, including recycled chip fat.
