He was also racing and winning earlier than pastrana.

I doubt pastrana would be able to move into motogp and make any impact...hell he couldnt even make an impact road racing at a club level. That said...rossi could switch into motocross or enduro and be competitive.

rossi and pastrana are two different animals.rossi is a bad motherfucker in moto gp but i think pastrana has a better chance of keeping up with rossi on a moto gp bike than rossi does with him on a dirtbike.travis backfliped a cb 650 or some piece of shit,he rides everything.valentino will still burn him in a gp race but think about valentino trying to hang with travis in any situation envolving dirtbikes.
