One tip. If you dare keep this sauce for a bit and it breaks, take just a smidge of cream/milk and warm it up and then add the broken sauce slowly to it. Works well and looks/tastes just fine.
you left out the most important details...egg yolk, white wine, CLARIFIED butter (not just melted butter), lemon juice, S & P, and a little bit of tabasco.
