I use a POD 2.0 as a tube pre-amp. I turn up the overdrive to about 7 (out of 10). I run that into a Vox DA20 amp. And I use the amp's built-in overdrive as well. I think the key to getting a sound similar to Noel is to use lots of overdrive.

bass = 7/10

mid = 6/10

treble = 7/10

overdrive 7/10

delay = 3/10

Noel Gallagher likes to use a lot of overdrive and delay to get his sound. Just try different settings, you'll find a sound that you like.
