Milkwood: Compost Pt.1

We use earthworms on the west coast of Canada for our compost. My father taught vermiculture when I was little. Is this not common practice in Australia?

HARD WORK: Try planting some bamboo eg Bambusa oldhamii for compostable/mulchable leaves and edible bamboo shoots.
