He was better than Iverson, just don't know what happened to him after his 1st 4 years in the NBA. 1st dude I ever saw go btwn the legs and then crossover in the same motion at the same time and just blow by people! Him and Shaq took down the mighty UNLV team that won the title that year!

When shaq was asked after being in the pro's several years who the best player he ever played with was. Not pausing he said Chris Jackson, says it all!
I heard him and Litterial Green played each other in high school, if anyone has this video, post it. Green was from jackson, ms; most magazines had them rated 1 & 2 small guards nationally. I think green played at georgia and then for the orlando magic. No doubt if Rauf wasn't eventually black balled by the nba he would have been an all time great. His quickness was unfair and disgusting.
@dallascomegys CJ tore him up in college. I still remember when LSU played Georgia, in either 88 or 89, and it was like Jackson had a vendetta against him. I think he went for 44.
@dallascomegys The rivalry was Chris Jackson vs. James " Hollywood" Robinson in high school. Apparently it rocked. Robinson went on to play at Alabama and played in the NBA for different teams, was in a slam dunk contest.
if he couldve kept his religious views to himself , he wouldve been top 5 guards of all time...small guards , he was exceptional..i saw games where he tortured MJ , STOCKTON & host of legendary guards..not just shooting , great great playmaker..
Does anyone remember the Loyola Marymount / LSU game, that was the best game ever. LSU wins 148-141 in overtime. Shaquille ONeal, Chris Jackson and Stanley Roberts all on the same court. Man I wish these guys would have stay and played together one more year.
@johnLSU I wanted to see Shaq and Stan Roberts to go up against Motumbo and Alonzo Mourning in college soooo bad. LSU could put up digits like nobody's business. Bo Kimble, Hank Gathers, Terrell Lowery. College ball in the early 90's was so serious.
if he doesnt convert to muslim and fast every year, lose all that weight, and eventually quit the nba all together, he could have been an all-star for many years and maybe one of the best guards ever to play.

He made it look too easy.

3rd best? He was more dominate than O'Neal. Jackson was unstoppable.

Cool that you noticed that. O'neal was a second threat when I saw those two play. Chris was insane in college.
