  • What supplements do you take? Creatine? BCAA's?

  • make sure to keep your butt on that bench...it could mess up your back and the work out isnt focussed where it should be when you lift your butt

  • he's light because of his diet, probably is vegetarian but he is still very strong which is good

  • right job

  • shit, i thought i was a boss after doing 7X50 (100 total) haha whats a good way to gradually increase the weight? should i go up 5 pounds a week? i work chest about twice a week giving atleast 3 days inbetween each session

  • How much do you weigh?

  • Looks good. You did that like it wasn't even there. You've got even more than that in you.

  • If I may ask, what age did you start working out, Arash?

  • Strong man !

  • All I have to say is congratulations, fitness goals are all realitive and there is nothing like beating a personal best. Keep up the great video's, they are very inspirational and informative.

  • what is the song name?

  • arash how much do you weigh?

  • @black505

What ,does he do push yours with his mind? Calisthenics vs heavy weight lifting is a general difference of building fast vs slow twitch muscles ya goon. body builders might want to take hgh so they build new muscle fiber rather than only rebuild the muscle they tear from training. I normally wouldn't post like this but holy crap that was a retarded comment

  • Hey brotha, I'm proud of you. We love seeing you progress. Keep up the heavy lifting vids. P.S. Lucky dude to have your girl with you at the gym all the time. We could only wish. #StrengthProject4Life

  • Probably the best thing I like about all the StrenghtProject Videos is the honesty of it all.

  • i though you do everything with out weight arash

calisthenics training or did you stop with that cuz alot off people like bodybuilding

  • What's your height and weight?

  • does anyone know hte song?

  • Arash you are amazing!

  • how do u remain injury free ?

  • I wouldnt want to fight you lol

  • @pinolero13 doing that doesnt mean he can fight? lol

  • @aznkid1452 lol probably not. Probably sucks @ fighting, but he could probably wreck shit in wrestling.

  • if you can use that much weight, why don't you look big ? like bodybuilders

  • @DarkStyler94

Probably because i dont eat 8000+ calories a day lol

  • @strengthproject

Lol at Darkstyler94's comment, functionality is more impressive than anything (besides you're ripped).

  • @strengthproject calories makes you fat, protein makes you big ;)

  • @strengthproject bitch please Probably because you dont take roids bra lol :D

  • @donlyson

    that too lol

  • @DarkStyler94 Body builders exercise to increase their Human Growth Hormone, Arash strengthens his nervous system, so he's strong, but not huge.

  • @DarkStyler94 He's still inridiculously good shape

  • @DarkStyler94 try to take a look at the best strongman you can find and then at a pro bodybuilder like jay cutler og phil heath, the strongman is only half the size of the bodybuilders but he can lift way more because he trains for strength while bodybuilders train for size, personally i go for size :P

  • @TopR8edMedia i go for size too :p

  • @DarkStyler94 thats the way to go, size matters :D

  • @DarkStyler94 He is big

  • @DarkStyler94 My personal trainer is around 145 pounds, about 5'7", and doesn't even look all that cut, but he can get 95s up for 8 reps. Bruce Lee wasn't a big guy either, but he could hold 70 pound dumbells at arms length for 20 seconds and do pushups with 250 pounds on his back. Big muscles are for show; you can be strong as hell without ever getting big.

  • @DarkStyler94 heavy lifting doesnt mean you should look big

  • @DarkStyler94 It could also be because of the quality of his muscle fibers. He has a smaller frame but is able to exert a lot of power and explosiveness in his muscles. Look at Bruce Lee's form. He would go to the gym and explain that just because a man has big muscles or mass doesn't mean that they know how to exert the maximum force they are capable of. He could do 50 one arm chin-ups and curl 135 with a single arm, yet he only weighed about 130 pounds at a time.

  • @DarkStyler94 So he could have a smaller frame but achieve maximum efficiency or force capable of his frame. Some people could lift a certain weight a number of times and achieve a certain bulky or buff effect. It also depends a lot on genetics. There are people who a naturally "bigger" with a bulky frame and there are naturally people are "smaller" and ripper so to speak. There are also those like the bald guy you frequently see on this channel who have traits of both.

  • @DarkStyler94 Though there are ways to change this naturally or by taking supplements or performance enhancing substances that body builders often use. An example would be like Hannibal for King being as buff as he is using his own body weight to gain strength and muscle mass and then look at this video, he cross trains. Genetics is key in this.

  • @DarkStyler94 Looking big isn't shit compared to being strong.

  • you inspire me to become stronger and also want me to master my own body. thank you for all the vids.

  • Nice work! How much you weight 150? That's impressive dude!

  • I am currently at 60 pounds per dumbbell. It seems so long way to go to at least to 100...

  • Wife or Girlfriend filming?

  • Song name?

  • Do you ever lift bench press with the olympic bar? DB press is better for stabilization and balancing a heavy weight in each arm, which in turn builds stabilizing muscles... but flat bench with olympic bar i find is great for overall power. What's your PB for olympic bar bench press?

  • @Alit2

I am unsure, I havent attempted a 1 rep max for a while. I'm guessing its at least 275 pounds. I'm going to try it sometime next month. Maybe on my birthday lol

  • @strengthproject nice. you could calculate your 1 rep max based on your other numbers and reps. post that vid next month. birthday edition haha!

  • wow good.

  • song?

  • I like this channel because of the demos and instructional videos, and generally have nothing bad to say about Arash, great guy. This^, however, is just showing off.

  • @maximylyanovich

This was just showing my progress. And yes, sharing your progress can be considered "showing off", but if done respectfully what is wrong with that?

  • @strengthproject I might get jealous, hah. I'd just like it if you stayed out of weights and demonstrated your calisthenic tricks instead. They're just as impressive and even more fun to watch.

  • @strengthproject Well done Arash! Soon I will send you a video of my progression thanks to God first and strength project second!

  • @strengthproject

People feel insecure or have inferiority complex OR THEY just want to criticize.

    Keep doing your thing Arash!

  • @maximylyanovich try not to think of it as showing off. think of it more as reaching and eventually passing the goal that arash has reached ;)

  • 115lbs dumbbell press is not nothing much ok....

  • Beast.

  • dang... you can bench me with one arm. that's scary

  • good stuff man, hopefully I'll be the same at your age too.

  • Awesome numbers! How much you weighing in nowadays?

  • @e1g3r obviously I have no idea but just by his appearance I would say somewhere from 160-175?

  • Very good man :)

  • Nice work, fair play

  • No spotters? Strong courage.

  • do you train for neuromuscular efficiency (relative strength) or hypertrophy (size & strength) or a mix of both mr.strength project?

  • Lot of strength there man. Really impressive. How much do you flatbench?

  • congrats man... I already done 220lbs, but on a bar, not a dumbell

  • Good work :)

  • Im only at 50 pound dumbbells.....Oh well Im only 135, plus my 1 rep with a barbell is 200 so it is allll good.

  • Just pushin the limitations of the human body.. lol all in a days work? I hope to match that in the near future, great job. Keep pushing. Your vids are one of the many reasons i do, and live the way i do today. So thank you.

  • inspiration. seeing guys like you putting up that much really helps me push myself more in the gym. i used to be a scrawny kid all throughout high school. but my senior year i really pushed my self to be more athletic. so i started playing basketball (again) and worked out. when i first benched, my max was 5 lbs each side =P. now i worked my way up to 45s. its been 2 years since i started. but this goes to show that just because youre small doesnt mean you cant be big and strong.

  • song?

  • Man this guy is insanely talented. Backflips, strength, DAMN !!

  • Hey man! Nice job, just got one question/note: Why do you lift your butt of the bench? To get the most out of your chest, my experience and what I've learned as a gym instructor is that when you lift your butt of the bench you dont put as much emphasis on the chest like you would if you lie flat on the bench.

    Just a question.

  • @Johanwahlin

The butt lifted a bit on the 115, generally it'll stay on the bench. Its usually with maximal effort that sometimes a bit of technique is sacrificed to complete the lift.

But yes, I agree, keep the butt on the bench for more chest

  • @strengthproject but get your butt of the bench to get more tail. girls don't want the bench warmers.

  • obviously you do a hell of a lot dumbell, but im wondering whats your max barbell bench?

  • thats really good, id never thought u could do beacuse of your size, but i now see the light

  • awesome!

  • Good job man! The next video... dumbells bench press a girl who is the reflection in the mirror, A girl who is the reflection in the mirror :))

  • Hi, I was woundering if you can help me. I dislocated my left shouder during this exersize. Later I did it 2 more times during boxing. When my muscle gets tired its extremely easy to dislocate again. Can you give me an advice ?

  • @konholio2 go see a doctor ?

  • impressive stuff, looks a little like you're pushing from your hips and arching your back but maybe that's just my eyes. excellent either way, keep it up.

  • strong for your weight

  • Good job!

Can't understand how you can lift in a flannel though.

  • i was feeling great when i saw this video, because currently im at 130 pound dumbbells for 3 reps... but then i remembered you can backflip over me

  • @Ji99i3 Dude 3 reps?... i doubt u can do 10 reps on 100 lbs

  • @coolamannenpwn 12-15 actually... thankfully i have a good enough self esteem that i wouldnt let a hater like you not believe me. not everybody on the tube is a liar. so have yourself a nice glass of shut the fuck up ;)

  • @Ji99i3

We all have our strengths and weakness :)

  • @strengthproject yes i agree, love the channel and youre a bit inspiration for us medium weight guys!

  • I'm doing 85lb each and it is not that much of a struggle (I can do 8 solid reps), but what's weird is I cannot go up to 90lb each. I probably could if someone supported be getting the first rep up, but I just find that strange.

  • :( I've only done 50lbs before, I think I'll just stick to push ups lol

  • DAMN NICE!!

I'm hoping to get to that weight sometime this year!

  • Damn. Hella nice.

  • Wow, he owns the gym and the track, that's a boss right there

  • HOW THE FUCK ARE U THAT STRONG

  • Parece como el gimnasio LA fitness :p

  • I can't even lift the 40's of the rack.

  • tienes una gran fuerza!! :)

  • MUY Bueno TE felicito :)

  • ah okay congrats man! kepp it up

  • how come it says 100

  • @SuperOs1000

100 is the first set. the second set was 115

  • @strengthproject yes I noticed man. Very impressive and cant belive u quoted me lol AWESOME

  • That's a good personal best. I pump the heavier stuff too and I do a lot of other ish. Do you curl much? with the curl bar and the free weights that is. If so what's your personal best for those?. Just curious...

  • @XplicitVocalz

i've never gone heavy for curls. dumbbell curl the heaviest i've gone for sets of 10 is probably 45lb dumbbells, and curl bar, maybe just over 100lbs. I dont like going heavy on the curl, because my technique will be thrown off and i'll throw my back into it.

  • @strengthproject I see makes sense...That's cool.... I can do a lot for both, but I do so many other exercises that it becomes unnecessary to do so much for one thing all the time. I just like to do different exercises and such, so that there is no way for me to get bored of working out, though I doubt I'll ever get sick of anyway. Love it too much.. The 115lb you did in the video is good though, because I know a lot of people who can't even do half of that with the free weights..

  • strong dude

  • @nashmedina

You guys are strong haha! Thanks

  • How much are 115 pouns in kilos? :)

  • @MrCrabzter just over 50! :S

  • Comment removed

  • Hell ya Arash!!!!!!!! That's what i'm talking about man!! In all seriousness I hope to reach the point of fitness that you are at someday! I weight about 130 lbs, and so far my personal best at dumbell press is 85lbs, which was pretty tough for me haha but hopefully someday I'll be able to beast it up with the 115's like you brotha!

Continue the great work, I always enjoy your videos!

  • it should be called : 115 dumbell back press heah

  • thats fucking crazy. i gotta get to training

  • Thanks Arash. My motivation has been really low due to a back injury that's still holding me back. Videos like these help bring a bit back (really impressive considering your size, but then again you can pull off some pretty amazing things).

  • 115 pound each?

  • @jorns17

    Yes

  • what a monster, how much do u weight btw???

  • gonna hurt your back moving like that

  • ok so you dont bulk but have so much strength...how??? :(

  • @lumimobb strength and bulk does not necessarily have to be related. (to some extent, at least)

  • @lumimobb

Just consistent strength training. I eat a lot of high protein foods- salmon, eggs, chicken

  • do some more abs workout

  • @KingZTrikX What's the magic word?

  • @CdotDixon step off bitch

  • @KingZTrikX That's a collection of words. The correct answer was please.

  • @CdotDixon

Please and thank you's will change the world

  • @CdotDixon wow you really dont have a sense of humour, what i said wasn't an insult it was a joke and i apologise if that offended you

  • @KingZTrikX Cool, "step off bitch" doesn't sound like a joke in written form though.

  • @CdotDixon i was just referring to this when i said "step off bitch" /watch?v=FPm9Q7TjVGo

  • Can you do more weight with dumbbells or with a barbell.

  • @goppel1

    barbell

  • @goppel1

    stupid question

  • @elhombre698 I do mostly calisthenics and I was just curious

  • @goppel1

As they say, the only stupid question is an unasked question

  • @goppel1

    no offense. cheers

  • wow, that's impressive..I had no idea you were that strong, good job man!

  • And also, what's your weight atm?

  • @MrFifaVids

I'm actually at my heaviest ever right now 170lbs. Now that I've been running, I might drop to 165. My strength is at an all time high to in terms of weights.

  • @strengthproject hey, what % do i have to drop my belly fat to so that my abs show cos i think i have like 15-25% and they show a bit when i flex but like a faint outline

  • @Shift4chizzle

It all depends on the person, but I say try to get 10% or under

  • @strengthproject ok thanks!!¡¡¡

  • @strengthproject - Even more impressive then, I'm at 163 lbs at the moment, and training with 72 lbs dumbells (32,5 kg) x 10 reps first set (never tried my 1RM with dumbells). Hoping to hit the 100's one day aswell.

I've only been going to the gym for about 6 months now, and this channel is just a great source of inspiration..thank yoou!!

  • @MrFifaVids

    Thank you!

  • shouldn't you maby have a spotter if you go for more weight I would not like to see you get hurt.....any way man great stuff and keep up the good work.

  • @HyourouSen

Usually for barbells. For dumbbells I've never had problems, if you get stuck you can just let go of the weights (risk of shoulder injury? No what your doing if you do this method).

  • @strengthproject oh ok thanks man

  • DZD!!

  • You should see what your record for pull ups and chin ups are now.. that would be dope set like a weekly PR for each exercise and share :)

  • @Malignantspiritify what you think Arash?

  • @Malignantspiritify

I dont know about weekly PRs, maybe right now I'd be able to get away for a few weeks not that I have a fresh start... But in a month or so, I'm sure the PRs will be tougher to get.

  • @strengthproject Monthly PRs?

  • 115 lbs how much means in kg= 52kg???

  • @seby941

Yes I believe each dumbbell would be about 52 kg

  • @strengthproject thx for answer man;) keep going;):D next 120;););)..

  • Nice job!

  • @gatsby68

    Thank you!

  • Great work, I saw in your face when you picked them up you knew you could do it! Those 120's are calling your name bro :-)

  • @GetFitStayingFit

Thanks! :) Yes they were calling my name, I wanted to attempt the 120s, but I'll wait til I can push at least 8 reps with the 115 =)

  • @strengthproject Good call. I bet you get those soon based on all the stuff you been posting, stay strong!

  • @GetFitStayingFit

Thanks man :) Likewise, keep training!

  • haha good job!!!

  • @perrofrio

    Thanks

  • Good strength man.

  • @CdotDixon

    Thanks man!
