I dunno why people say NCIS: LA is a copy of the original, when the only thing they have in common is the agency they work for. Their approaches to crime solving are entirely different: NCIS is focused on forensics, and LA is more about undercover work and hands-on investigation. LA tends to have more shoot outs and chases, and we see almost no forensics. They're both good in their own ways. :]

I have hope for this one. It gets to take the theme, and start it with a mostly clean slate, not have all the baggage of the original. They could use a longer intro though, with some better music.

I saw the pilot, which wasn't too terrible. May not measure up to the CSI Vegas-Miami crossover, but I have hope for it no less.

The theme song for NCIS LA is just a sped up remix of Kate's theme from the regular NCIS.

I loved Kate's theme, and I love this version of it! The show isn't as good as NCIS but I think LA will have more action, while NCIS will have better drama and storyline.
