Great vid, kinda awkward when showing Erika the draw stroke and you're turned to the camera, i've done the same thing thinking people should just get it by watching, alot dont. Step by step, hands on, unloaded practice seems to be key, along with a crap load of dry fire drills and some snap caps.. Headed in the right direction..

Overall really good but noticed 2 things. Main thing is she rode the slide forward when chambering, second is her finger is coming off the trigger after each shoot. Work on keeping it pressed back as the gun cycles and just let it out to reset as you realign sights.

@nerfsk8er Do you know the reasoning behind the move? It's to break the tunnel vision from the adrenalin flow to regain awareness of your surroundings. You know, to spot additional potential threats. I don't think it's "cheesy" at all, seems like valid training to me.

@cory07ink If I may, having only learned some of these techniques recently myself, your students might greatly benefit from more verbal instruction regarding what they should do, rather than just repeating the motions over and over yourself. Even when you do it slowly you're too often just saying "like this" without explaining repeatedly what it is that you're doing.

Just fumble for it, you might shoot your own leg and foot on the way to shooting the threat and getting all caught up in your clothes, but at least you're not dead.
