- I don't think they had cell phone's in 1993

-Deb got her license exactly on her 16th birthday( I believe you can get your permit when you're 14 or 15 in FL but still...pretty lucky to get it exactly on ur bday)

- Dexter was born in 1970 making him 23 in this...yet Deb is 16...Dexter is NOT 7 yrs younger in the show.MAYBE 2 at the most

Continuity errors are not part of Dexter for me.I forsee the artist and editor of this laying on Dexter's table soon

One of my partner administrators is trying to work through Dexter's kill list and I'm trying to work through the dates, none of them add up. Sho.com has a "Kill Room" app that shows the ages and death dates of Dexter's victims, plus the victims of his victims...Gene Marshall was listed as dying in 2002 in the series but 1993 here? PLUS the age issue?

@X360hatr4life Whoever wrote early cuts really messed up on that part...mainly because Debra is clearly around the same age as Dexter during the flashbacks in Season 1 when he's just a child. If THIS was cannon and Debra was born in 1977 (with Dexter born in 1969) that'd make her damn near an infant in any of these flashbacks where they are seen together as pre-teens. Let's not forget the continuity errors in the other Early Cuts as well.

@X360hatr4life One last bit of Info, regarding Alex Timmons as Dexter's first bloodslide. He was killed in 1999, at least according to sho's website. Early Cuts has his death in 2003, which would place him well after Gene Marshall. In the flashback for Gene you can see the cut on his cheek, suggesting a bloodslide and it makes sense because if the showtime series has Alex die in 1999 and Gene in 2002, naturally he'd have a bloodslide. Early Cuts is all out of wack man .__.

@X360hatr4life Continuity w/ their age is a part of the show. I am only on season two. But as you stated he was born around 1970, making Dex around 36 or 37 in season one 2007. In that season, Batista flirts with Deb:"II I was ten years younger..." She responds, "I was still in high school, perv" making her 27 at the most, 9 years younger than Dexter. Yet, in all the flashbacks, Young Deb and Dex look about the same age, two years difference at the most. Certainly not 8 years.

Flip phones didn't exist until 1996 and even then very few people owned them, also the Slice of Life was Harry's boat, sloppy sloppy sloppy writing here..I was looking forward to these to expand the series, but the inconsistencies and timeline holes make me regret watching them, as obviously they aren't really a part of the series any more than fan-art or fan-fiction.
