  • where he said "im sorry i was blind" i thought he said "im sorry i was black"

  • Brendan was a friend of mine in college and lived a couple rooms down from me at UNT. In fact, I met Norah Jones through him (she lived in our dorm too). Needless to say, I wasn't shocked to see him appear on Idol. He wasn't even singer back in college; he studied jazz and was great on the sax and piano. He definitely should have made it further than he did on Idol.

Anyway, nice work Brandon Rogers and Norah Jones for following your dreams ;)

  • Brandon is an awesome singer and should have been in Top 10 if not runner up.

  • paula was blushin

  • His CD is great.

  • @rubyspirit2 Yes his cd is great. I love, love, love "Broken".

  • @goboywonder What's the name of his CD? I liked him best in S6.

  • Brandon is a great combination: handsome, talented AND humble. A lot of men like Brandon have egos spiraling out of control. He seems like such a nice guy and not full of himself at all.

  • He's so handsome !. Luv the tone and rasp in his voice!

  • someone tell me about this blonde what's her name?? my heart will stop !!

  • dude...thta's OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN. a huge australian pop star from the late 70's. she was in GREASE with john travolta (in a tight leather outfit...)

  • who's the original of the song?

  • artist*

  • Elvis

  • ...but willie nelson wrote it and recorded his own version as well.

  • @devangelis: true but the real original singer is Elvis. it came out in in 1972. Nelson's version came out in 1982. both are great versions. but in actual reality, both weren't the original singers either. it was originally made for Brenda Lee. And After Elvis's version, there was the John Wesley Ryles version which came out in 1979.

  • oh I hadn't realized that. Thanks! Who actually WROTE the song?

  • @devangelis: Well one of the writers you may know is Mark James who wrote a lot of Elvis's songs and wrote the hit" Suspicious Minds" and also Wayne Carson who wrote songs for Conway Twitty and the hit" The Letter" which was recorded for the Beach Boys, The Box Tops and Joe Cocker.
