  • Thank you so much!!! I just got quoted $200 to get these replaced!!!! You saved me money thank you again!

  • Hi, I would like to know if you need to adjust the anything on a spark plug or can you install them directly from the box... and wich spark plug is better?? iradium, titanium or anything else?! Thanks

  • Fuck Bosch!

    Puro NGK!

  • Informative. But, copper (next to silver) is the best conductor of electricity. These silly multi-electrode, fancy metal plugs to nothing for combustion. You should have put the factory recommended AC plugs back in.

  • you're actually right about that. the factory plugs are platinum, and the bosch ones worked okay. they were later replaced with AC delco pro iridium plugs, and they worked well.

  • damn! this is very educative please post more of this. thank you

  • The only spark plug that would make difference is Robert Krupa's Firestorm spark plug. Look for it on Youtube. All the others are -/+2%.

  • nice end, i guess

im pretty sure you really needed those platinum+4 spark plugs because standard copper/platinum plugs won't allow your car to idle properly

  • Thanks man, really helpful

  • End was the best part. And the truth.

    NGK TR55 $1.69 at autozone BITCH! :)

  • Dielectric grease on the threads? Not good It will make the car misfire.

  • i've only ever had that happen with older coil/distro ignitions, or if someone used a LOT.

  • this was informative. thanks

  • Thanks. I now know what a coil on the plug is.

  • Are you guys kidding, this man speaks the truth. Too many ricers around here... "Diamond-tipped spark plugs in here" congratulations. Unlike you, my engine's common enough that people have actually done independent TESTS to determine that the standard spark plug works just as well as any others.

  • that is true. About 2 years ago Maxpower tested the spark plug on a ford escort xr3i they tryed like 5 diff ones and no better or worse

  • you're not supposed to use dielectric grease on the spark plug threads, use anti-seize (this is, if the head is aluminum)

  • I might have made a mistake. I replace my Bosch Super copper to Platinum Plus with a single electrode, and it didn't run any better, little wrose. And when I checked it, the electode is turning white.

  • White soot means the engine is running lean and very hot. Just use what the manufacturer recommends for the spark plugs.

  • LMAO - right at the end HAHAHA

  • check the sparkplugsensor clip, this is crucial to own.

  • thanks

  • Whoa! You really became a big d-bag at the end.

  • good tutorial

  • I loved it, simply and straight foward.

  • Good. Thanks for doing this it's useful. Although you made a big assumption about the plugs that they would have the correct sparking width when you fit them. If this were incorrect it would make a big difference to how your engine were to run. otherwise thanks!

  • bosch plat +4 plugs are always pre-gapped.

  • hey crazymcq ? What will be your prefferemce? Denso Iridiums or NGK Iridiums?

  • Nice vid I already knew how to change plugs but I watched anyway. This is a good vid for anyone who doesn't know how!

  • Thank You.
