Its not just about sex, its about two people from totally different backgrounds meeting and shareing something intense. What she did was not shameful, merely curiousity. i saw first Lolita and now i discovered The lover. I didn't knew that Lolita is a kind of remake of this... Music too is almost the same and so many images are just copied from The lover.. But honestly i prefer Lolita, is more sensible, realistic and psychological. You can see that meantime the cinema accumulated more experience.
