Kitt parked Too Elusive in front of our apartment in Camden and took us out once. He scared the hell out of me by crossing in front of another yacht that was probably not more than 50 yards away at the closest point. He was also very funny. Ramito is still crewing along with his wife---or was last summer. They have a child now. There are several other videos in my collection showing Too Elusive.
My son crewed for Kitt a few years ago and speaks (with awe) about his skills as a sailor. I've also heard him say many times that if he were in a huge storm offshore, the first person he'd want on the boat with him is Ramedo. Aside from that, Ramedo looks like my favorite stuffed animal (a koala bear) I had as a kid, so of course I've gotta like him!!
