Cures to rare diseases are created by your private industry but are never created for the population for the disease is RARE and will not produce a profit. In canada we have 100% free healthcare we spend rought about 7% of our minsulbe GDP to cover the huge landmass of Canada. Americans spend roughly 9% of their awsome GDP to cover 80% of the population. Yeah you keep telling yourslef your own BS.
And where are all the cures to rare diseases that have sprung up out of gov't run health care? Where is the cure to almost any disease rare ornot that has come from UHC? THERE AREN'T ANY!!! Something like 90% of new drugs come from the U.S. That's b/c this is the only place drugmakers are rewarded for saving people lives.
The 90% is statistically accurate. Instead of accusing me of rhetoric, why not come back with some evidence to refute what I have said. Where are all these successes?
Yeah half of the population are on some type of mood stabalizers eh? 90% of the drugs come from the United States because your FDA is like a sieve. You talk like your proud of letting any drug hit the market. (may cause stroke paralysis and gout)
99% of drugs are beneficial and allow people to live longer, fuller, more comfortable lives. The ones you hear about are the exception, not the rule that is why they are 'news'. And the bad ones don't last long in a free market. And half of your population is probably on mood stabilizers too. Alcohol and marijuana...who knows what else.
I am sorry to say that you are wrong, you cant just skip the health care insurance, the gov doesnt always come through with payments that you owe to the hospital and the hospital treats you really bad once they know that you dont have insurance, they put you at the end of the line, even on er my friend, anyways, nice shirt by the way
I know it's not smart to skip the insurance...I'm just saying for the working poor etc. who may be on the cusp of not buying insurance or having ins. through employer or what have you, when they know that they will at least get basic coverage at the ER, they tend to not buy health ins and let me and you pick up the tab in the form of higher HC costs. The shirt was a gift and I get comments on it all the time. good conversation starter lots of times.
