Ty lee is one of my favs^^ and this song fitts her very well, she sometimes indeed feels happy, but not always, sometimes it's an act for what she feels inside. I loved that episode at the amber island. very sad yet deep. very good anime (or whatever you call it, it's good so it doesn't matter what you call this series:P)

I love Tylee she is soo cute!! I know how the girl feels sometimes, just beause someone acts happy-go-lucky doesn't mean they always are. I know there were a lot of times in school I acted that way, sometimes because I felt that way, other times just to put on an act. Plus with Zuko, when he said that I got pissed. It reminded me of when my dad shot off at me just for living happily, the way I wanted to, or a couple of friends. Sure we act happy but we're not always and still have feelings/worry

If they're really knowledgeable. Remember when Katara dried a map or whatever just by sucking the water out? It's like that, but with two issues, the fire already does damage to the structure, and they now need some way of containing the fire drawn towards them.

I'm not sure I agree with this characterization of Ty Lee. I think it's more a combination. She has a defense mechanism of smiling alot, but she's also rather cheerful. For instance, she smiles equally meeting Sokka, and Azula.
