Kobe has average defence. Who knows why he's on the all NBA Defense 1st team. He wasn't even top 3 in Defensive player of the year.
And all star games are based on popularity dude. Some of it, if not none, is based on skill.
Look at McGrady, fuckin injured the whole year, and came in 3rd for All star votings

Yeah, he makes some crazy shots, but lets be honest: for every one of those hes made, hes probably missed two. Last game vs. utah he made that one three pointer and the layup (which followed his miss), but then missed 3 other shots in the final minute and a half.

Manu ginobili really isnt known for his defense. Theres no one alive who can defend kobe bryant. Theres guys who can make it harder for him, but if he wants to score, hell score. And when kobe is on fire no one can defend him, because his only restrictions are the side lines and half court line.

I don't think so. Look at Kobe's performances this year vs. Detroit and Tayshaun Prince, and also the 2004 Finals. The Pistons shut Kobe down almost every time and Prince usually outplays Kobe.
