One interesting thing about this 3-wheeler is that my grandfather modified it by fabricating a mount point for a second drive sprocket on a jack shaft. This makes a higher drive ratio and a much more tractor-like little vehicle. It does about 20mph tops. So it will never be a factory-original collector's item, but it has sentimental value to our family.
Yes, in the 1970's it went on about a dozen trail rides, and towing a small, wooden trailer that my grandfather built. (He also fitted it with a hitch.) We went to Loon Lake, Idaho, Hard Butte lakes, and other places.

Yes, steel pipe and a welder ... done back in the 70's by my grandfather, who was then about 80 years young...
