There's a reason for that. The music video is set to the original version that came out in the German world. When an Art-Of-Noise-like dance remix was released in Germany, the US record label took that and the best parts, including the female vocal at the bridge, and made a new single mix of it, which came out in the rest of the world. That's why there are two versions: this is the US version, known as the "Gold Mix".

Wrong. This is the UK version, not the US verson. The US release doesn't contain the female vocal break and is slightly slower.

Not true, this is the version that came out in America. It's even called "The American Edit". This version came out also in the UK after this version came out here. The one you're talking about, which is the one in the music video, is the original German version that came out in most of the world.
