I would recommend oiling the slug before loading. if that slug were to jam in the barrel youd have a hard time wiping your ass for the rest of your life!

hey, try some minie ball type slugs, make a hollow base, and a round top. it will expand the base from the explosion and grip the barrel making an air tight seal, and if you added rifling then it would grip the rifling, and the tip being pointed would mean it could be used in a similar fashion to the 1 pounders of blackpowder times, they were used for blowing small clean holes through walls while causing massiive damage on the other side from the energy and shrapnel

The slugs is extremely well fitting. I use to put them in a fridge so they shrink slightly before I load them and they expand to perfection once heated.

The slugs are flat-headed to put most of their energy into the target since they usually go through everything anyway :P

I do use to make some projectiles that are meant for one purpose though, one example would be projectiles to penetrate the thickest possible steel and others are just to create devestation on soft targets.

@TheHiddenPart Rifling would make it harder to make other projectiles. Also it is not needed as the cannon is fixed to a floor and fires in the same hole every time.
