I think it would be really cool if they had a running style selector. (SPEED STAYS SAME) but like have 3 styles, 1. realistic, Sonic would move his arms back and forth while he runs. 2. Sonic, Will have his arms sticking backwards in fists. 3. Circle. (I hate the most) Sonics arms curve and his legs move in an oval. (thumbs up if you like this Idea and or, Dont like the way sonics feet spin in a circle.)

If Knuckles and Tails are on this game I think Sonic should be the only one aloud to Spin Dash. Reason? Well they all have two abilities Sonic Spin Dash Insta-shield (which will probaly be removed since the homing Attack.) Knuckles Climb Glide Tails Fly Swim Also I think Sonic should go a tad faster then them since he is the fastest thing alive and only be aloud to use Shield Attacks like the old games. I mean Cmon he is the main character

I wish this would be for Nintendo DS, it makes more sense: If SEGA can put all 4 of Sonic 4's predecessors on one card for DS, then surely this can be put on DS? The graphics would compromise, but that's a small price to pay, really. But awesome - I've waited for ages for SEGA to respond about Sonic 4. :)

Ademas no tendre que recordarte los exitos 3D de sonic (Adventure 1 y Adventure 2) que siendo juegos en 3D eran excepcionales.

@XSerbanX Pues mejor tomemoslo como. SEGA nunca la caga con los juegos 2D (o en el 80%), y que tiene menos exito con los 3D. Es una apuesta mas segura ir a por el 2D de momento. Eso si, hasta que puedan restablecer un standard de calidad para los 3D. De todas maneras han demostrado cierto nivel de superioridad. El peor fue el Sonic 2006, luego el Sonic Secret rings, para mi si uqe me gusto, el sonic black knight nada, y el sonic unleashed si no fuera por el werehog todo perfecto. xD

Y The Secret Rings a mi me encanto. A pesar de que algunos medios lo trataran injustamente -.-

El problema de Sega ske en vez de ir evolucionando poco a poco desde Adventure 2, lo que hicieron fue añadir memadas a punta pala... pistolas, espadas... WEREHOG... WTF!?

The only thing I have to say is, you don't need those flippin target arrows for the homing attack feature. It seems annoying. I don't care for homing attack being in the game.

i did not say that. I own almost every sonic game and i like sonic unleashed alot. Especially for the ps2. Games that i do not really like are sonic and the secret rings because the camera angling and some of the sonic advance because the chaos emeralds were extremely hard to get. The sonic games i really like are the sonic rush and rivals series, sonic adventures and sonic adventure 2 battle, shadow the hedgehog a bit, and more.

You should play the game for yourself and see if you like it you shouldn't take a reviewers Opinion you should own Opinion and just because a reviewer doesn't have the same Opinion as you doesn't give you the right to bash them or send death threats.

Laugh my arse off at saying sonic fans think 2d sucks. No, they gave sonic unleashed a bad score because the werehog parts genuinely sucked. It had no place in a sonic game, and even if it did, it was a terrible example of a "beat em up" style of game. This was further compounded by the fact that the sonic sections of the game were virtually perfect, being expected to put up with the crap that was the werehog was just insulting.

And most of the time, quite justifiably, most of the 3d games range from nothing special at best, to making you consider stabbing your eyes out so you don't have to see it anymore. Then they made unleashed, roughly 40% good, still a record for a 3d sonic game, but then dragged it to it's grave with the werehog. Or the 2D games which not only almost always perform far better than the 3D games, they're just downright more fun, and true to what sonic games should be.

lolno. For SA1 Only the sonic, tails and possibly knuckles stages are in any way redeemable, and the latter 2 are just rehashes of sonic stages anyway. SA2 has only sonic and shadow stages that are worth playing, and shadow is the downright worst thing to ever happen to the sonic franchise. If he had stayed dead after sa2, that might not be true, but he got bs'd back in by sega.

Nah, the games haven't gone downhill, sonic adavnce 1-3 and rush /rush adventurer have been holding the fort up strongly. That said, there is no way sonic 4 is going to outshine those games, it'll end up equal to them at best, which is still far better than any of the sonic console games.

The game looks fantastic, really. It's essentially the level design of Sonic 2 + Sonic Advance 1 with Sonic Advance 2's engine (plus a homing attack), in HD with classic throwbacks, badniks, checkered hills, wacky boss contraptions and *coughSuperSoniccough*. In other words, genius. Sonic is back.

I'm not particularily excited about this.

As much as I love classic Sonic games, I'd rather have a full Sonic Adventure or Sonic Unleashed (minus the Werehog bits) styled game with this as an unlockable bonus or something, rather than a downloadable game that has less stages than any non-spinoff 8/16-bit Sonic game.

And why add Homing Attack... Sonic 1, 2 and 3 didn't need it at all. Even Sonic Rush didn't have it.
