Ok now i'm going to jump out of a widow i just put on my wii and the buzzing noise stop that's good but now it can't read the Discs that's really really really really really Bbbbbaaaaaaddddd *k.o*x_x someone please help me !
there's a screw inside the wii that can be tightened to fix it. the only other way is to send it to nintendo but they will send you back a refurbished wii with your information copied to it instead of your own.
i think its kind of funny that american made products (microsoft) charge an ass load to fix the products they deal to you garunteeing theyll work. but over seas manufacturers will fix almost anything for free. and will give wifi and online gamingFREE. i love america but money isnt everything DAMN COMMUNISTS..... HOP OFF OBAMA
thats so wierd.. it only happens to me when i put guitar hero world tour in and it wont work.. and no its not to scratchd up because it doesnt do that for my other games like that
Has your Wii taken a few falls? This is nothing too complicated. The likely thing going on here is that in a fall it may have taken, the wires have moved over a bit, and the cooling fan is hitting them a little. I don't think any more damage can happen because of this, but I'm not totally sure. You can either try hitting it (not so hard) like others are saying, in attempt to move the wires back over. Or you can easily just call Nintendo about it. They will be happy to fix this for free.
LOL That is nothing compared to my wii, check out my video on it..also my wii disc read errors on everything from backups to originals, from ssbb to wii sports..
ive tried to clean the lens too with the official wii lens cleaner but NOTHING
The problem is the top plastic bearing frame for the disc is touching the bearing arm when the disc is spinning. Check my account for a video to see the cause and fix. There is also another easier indirect fix I found on youtube where you just have to slacken one of the corner screws on the frame that holds the bearing arm.
I have the same problem, But i also have this odd 'static' Black and white digitaly moving pixels, its hard to describe. This happens on all games. I dont know if its the Disk drive fucked up doing it or what, it doesnt do it on GC games so i have truely no idea.
i know what this problem is, while testing some apps for waninkoko i had to open my wii drive, its actualy the grabber resting on the disk, its nothing major, i just dont know how to fix yet lol, there isnt much on the wii drive on the internet.
Same problem here! Exact same noise first I though it was the bad connection of one of the 3 coloured cables you put on the tv. But I've noticed it only happened when I put a disc... Anyway I sent an email to nintendo. Bill date = June 29th, 2007 lol this is LAME! At least I have a garranty!
sent to nintendo thats all i can say i have the same fucking problem it blows cock becase it just didnt last to play mario kart wii infact it distroyed my CD
got my wii back and the disc drive is fixed... so if u have this problem call nintendo it only took 6 days including the weekends.btw they ship the wii back with popcorn(not the one you eat)before they just sent the wii in a protective sheet
ah crap, what happened to the second wii, this started happening last night to mine. i lifted it out of the stand and it was still making the horrible buzzing sound. it's a december 8th wii too, so it's about 5 months out of warranty :(
just got a new wii for ssbb lens cleaning and its doing this f*king sound omfgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
Dumb bunnies. I had this problem too, it turned out to be my Nintendo Wii was vibrating through my shelf. When I took my hand and squeezed the shelf, it quit.
and i do know this noise ! my wii makes it when i put a backup i havent played in a while. i dont start the game but reinsert the disc and the noise is quieter. ;P also notice if you lift your wii the noise is gone too.. my wii is horizontal; trying to spread the rumbling of the wii doesnt help just like that ;P
My Wii started making that noise recently....but only when I play Wii discs....when I play cube games in it, it seems fine. I hope it doesn't cause any problems. I thought maybe it's the device inside that holds the Wii disc in place when you play Wii games. I don't know.
I had a Wii that make noise kind of like that, and errors keep on occurring on the system. I had to make sure it doesn't stop so I won't lose any valuable data. That got on my nerves.
Have you expeirenced a noisy ratty noise when your playing your Wii? Well, It won't afect your Wii console, Acept it will catch on fire sooner or later. :)
Mine is doing the same thing. I already sent in a wii back to nintendo, because something messed up the internet. So I sent it out, and it took about 3 weeks for me to get the new replacement back. Now I'm going to have to do it again for this...bullshit....
the wii in the video i didnt get back they sent me back a different refurb for some reason with my data transferred over. the refurb had a different fan type which was loud so i got an advance replacement as i didnt want to wait 3 more weeks. the replacement had trouble reading discs so i got another replacement. that's 4 wii's to get a good one! :| the one i have now has been good so far. im keeping it horizontal to reduce the chance of the disc drive becoming unbalanced like my original wii.
i sent it in to get fixed but i'm still waiting for it to return. the grinding sound it makes in the video is a problem though and it gets worse as time goes on so best to get it repaired before your warranty expires.
how has over 15,000 ppl watched this?! lol

The reason is the fan has too much dust and as it ages it will loosen up so dont worry about it.
zeldafan10 4 years ago
it sounds like theres something wrong with the fan or that the buzzing is coming from the power supply. i hope this has helped you
