Myself, I just can't get into this game. (In fact I have the "Super Street Fighter IV" version) I even tried it out with the bad "MadCatz" arcade stick..I personally prefer Tekken. (Or Killer Instinct, or probably the best and which I HIGHLY recommend you, Super Smash Bros. Brawl! No 100 button combinations!..)

I wanted to love this game but i just don't, in all the classic street fighter games every character had their own level, and you fought them in their own level & the music was relevant to the country the level is based in, but now its all random, you fight anybody anywhere and the music is just messy, and there is not enough fighting arenas, the characters share many of the levels, so lazy of capcom!

About the pop song: the singer is a group called "EXILE". I live in japan and believe me they are everywhere (cm, tv, drama), so it was a good marketing selection for Japan but I NEVER thought they had the courage to make an english version for oversea! they should had left in japanese, at least

Just one point about music very cool but completely forgotten: during the beginning anime cutscene the music in the background is the original one from sf2, slightly remixed.

Also during the last fight before the final boss the musics are back from the 90's

my only real complain is that there's no option that allows you too switch the music in-game. the new one are solid but for nostalgic people like me nothing is better than old style tunes!

it`s an easy game,you always jump around and use aerials attacks.....hmm i dont like that

i`d rather prefer Soul Calibur 4,it`s style is really unique and great.

besides,character customization is so polished-no fighting games can compare with SC4 in terms of character creation

and as for me,SC4 has the best IDEA of fighting,and the best graphics and animations

hands down,SF4 is great...i think.....i just don`t understand the game

I find it ironic that Ryu is voiced by Kyle Hebert, A.K.A. Gohan in Dragonball Z.. And I find it ironic that each time Ryu uses the hadouken in the anime cutscenes (like in the SFIV movie,) it always reminds me of the kamehameha wave.

Ken's dragon punch is waaay to powerful , and you can pin the CPU a lot of times with it , but I didn't enjoy this game , I have it for the 360. I never liked SF , so I gave SF IV a try and I aint saying its a piece of shit , I just didn't enjoy it. :S in my opinion soul calibur 4 and MK vs DC are waaay better.

@willieg54 no no it was the uppercut move. I don't know what the kicking move is called and the Hadoken is a fireball shot when you make a movement and press a punch button. Look it uup on the Street Fighter Wiki they should give you at least some infromation

its not mediocre but honestly they could have done A LOT BETTER. It looks as a cheap adaptation of a manga into a n anime and looks like a low budget rpoduction. Capcom could have done better, way better and if it was that hard to do those animations they should have used the in-game graphics.

As i said they are not extremely bad but this game was much anticipated. It oesntruin the experience thoguh, its still a really good game with solid gameplay

Maybe, however I started playing with El Fuerte and has some charm, is a char that if used well can be anything but predictable, awesome.

In general one of the things that I liked the most about this game is the balance of characters, they're really updated from their former incarnations and can stand very well a fight against any other (well, all except Dhalsim, he's still a bunch of crap).
