  • It's a shame that this 'documentary' shown on the powerful HBO directed by the great Scorsese and the widow Harrison couldn't have been done better. Is this to be the defining story of George Harrison? Maybe there'll be a 'Special Edition-Director's Cut' ready on the shelves for Christmas or George's 70th birthday...

  • hey ringo, can you come and play drums with my younger brother and me. it will be the most fun for all of us. if we can make u laugh it was worth it

  • <3

  • Yeah Eric was a jerk to her too, it seems that although Eric and George found happiness with the women in their lives, it always alluded Patti. But I guess she's happy with her life now too. That is nice George always cared about her as a friend.

  • Martin Scorsese ought to be ashamed. He absolutely butchered a fantastic opportunity to give us an understanding of George Harrison. Look at all the people who surrounded George, yet we are still left in the dark about who the man was...Interesting that Olivia Harrison oversaw much of the production. Her interview at the end of the film could have started it off! What a waste-Harrison's brothers, Paul, Ringo, Pattie, George Martin, and not one complete song in this three hour debacle. Pity.

  • Ah little darling, thankyou George for this song, strange though it may seem it was my son Mark s favourite ..He died young and it was played first at his funeral..here comes the sun means so much..Iam now 61 , Lord love you dear sweet George. And thankyou.

  • God these days they boost the music so far beyond the levels they use for the dialog it's useless to watch them other wise you'll be subjected to to more high audio levels that make it even worse! A big thumbs down and up your ass!

  • George is on par with John!! Both of you RIP!!

  • I love The Beatles more than anything, but I can't fucking stand Ringo. My best friend always teases me for how weird it is because I love The Beatles so much. I just think he's the most arogant little fuck there is. He should be groveling every morning at how lucky he was to be givin the gift of being a Beatle. Truth be told, secretley he didn't even play drums on a lot of there most famous songs. Paul did.

  • @CobainLennon8094 paul only played drums on about 4 songs I know of.....The balad of John & Yoko, Back in the USSR, dear prudence and maybe one or two others. The reason?......he had walked out on the beatles during the making of the white album and was going to quit the band. Paul talked out of it. Paul is an "ok" drummer but he just does not have the style, back beat and fills that Ringo did

  • @inkey2 There is part near the end of Dear Prudence that just rocks - but you are right, Paul is no Ringo.

  • Eric stated they shared the same women. I thought Pattie was the only common denominator between them. This may only be tabloid stuff, but Conor's mom Lori did give an interview stating she slept with the former Beatle in Japan when the two artists were on tour in the 90's. I also read on another site, he slept with Eric's French girlfriend in the 70's when she was staying with the couple. WTH! Poor Eric, losing his woman to the lusty Beatle! No wonder he resents him.

  • @2011lamb aviation is not seen if

  • @2011lamb It wasn't just Clapton he slept with Ringo's wife Maureen too. While Ringo was still married to her. But despite these things these guys loved him.

  • @2011lamb

    Poor Eric ?

He's the one that came home and announced to his wife Pattie, who had been desperately trying to have a child--having tests, and procedures done.. that he and this Lori were having a baby. Also. Eric was heroin addict for much of the 70's..so probably did not care that much.

This is a beautiful song, no matter what was going on that made it all come about. All these life elements are factors in the creation of these songs.

  • Opie and Anthony sent me here
