Hans Zimmer always manages to turn the genre of a movie into music. Everytime I listen to this music I understand it's filled with humour, yet still a detective movie, and with some adventure in it. Go Zimmer!

Where he says "Physical recovery, 6 weeks. Psychological recovery, 6 months." this isn't the soundtrack played there so why is it called that? As well as "Not in blood, but in bond" isn't played where the palm reader is telling him his future.. Or even when they're in jail. Why don't the titles go with the soundtracks?

They're written to go alongside part of the movie and aren't given a name, but when they're released as a stand alone soundtrack, they're given catchy sounding names which probably have nothing to do with their actual role in the film, although they often use lines from the film itself.

This is my fave movie, but I do belive the oscar wasnt deserved. The voices and diolauge were to fast and slurred to really get the message unless you pocessed fast enough. The story, (If you understood it,) was well thought out and the soundtrack, as we all know, was impecible. I throughly enjoyed it, though! Please dont flame my opinion.

The dramatization was farcical, like a wacky cop buddy movie... and it was generally a tricky way to get a "wide audience" to think they liked it. It is a very well done film FOR THAT KIND OF THING. It's just not Sherlock Holmes. No one has been able to dramatize Holmes quite right.

In my opinyon that wasn't very essential story material. My problem was the actress who played the Holems' love intrest. She was hot yes but theirs a diffrence betewan acting and looking good... she only did one of those things. I did deserv the oscar in my opinyon though.

Up's soundtrack was way better in my opinion, Michael Giacchino did a fantastic job on it. Avatar was great as well! i mean come on, that scene of Jake's first flight would not have been as epic or amazing had it not had the great music by James Horner.
