Awesome, really like the five-seven size. How does it handle? It shoots close to a rifle-sized bullet, so one would think it might have quite the kick, but from I saw it looks pretty controllable.
@KnightInBrightArmor Recoil is very manageable I had heard 60% less recoil than 9mm. In the video my hold was probably not proper and I was using a rest as discused previously probably wasnt the best method in the video the recoil probably appears more significant than it really is. If you have the opportunity before getting one I would say try it out but if not I would find it very shocking if you weren't satisfied after owning one. Great weapon.
The 5.7x28mm bullet is a high accuracy medium recoil bullet. Accurate to over 100 yards in the FN57 and 200 yards in the P90. comes with a standard 20rd mag or 10rd restricted or a 30ext mag. $1199 brand new. When i turn 21 this would be the pistol id by or maybe a .38spl. revolver I've shot a .38spl, 45 APC (M1911 and Mark 23), .357mag revolver.
hey great video.... its pretty cool to see someone else young as myself (guessing) who can display their knowledge and skill with firearms in a decent way. Most of the other people like that are raving cod idiots who think they know more than i do about guns when they've never even shot one
@tonyktx44 Hey thanks for the positive comment. It sure is nice to have civilized people that dont have criticizing and trash talking to get their fun.
Nice shooting bro, training from such a young age is always better because you learn faster and also learn responsibility and maturity. Ignore these trolls, leave them to their MW2, I mean at the end of the day what can you do, some people are just trolls. The more videos you make the more jealous they get, revel in their jealousy and hate haha. Anyways tc and be safe.
why so much haters???u guys are just haters cuz hes shooting a badass gun and u could only shoot it with a click of a mouse!!! Nice vid dude keep up the good work!!!!
Nice work son. It's a sweet pistol. Keep working. You could be great. I've fired mine at 100 yards just to see if I could. It has a pretty flat trajectory all the way out.
@AGMHellfire1 Hey thanks for the comment. I took it out to the same place and there were a couple other people out there that I let try it out and one of them came very close to some hits on a probably 2x1 foot object at that range so I agree completely on the trajectory.
@MDS1958 I don't think I've ever shot the five seven ears off. It has a nice fireball at the end of the barrel when you shoot it but as far as being piercing or incredibly loud I havent noticed that at all. I would say it is quieter than the .357 not for sure but just what I think.
I've actually been wondering about the recoil on this - from what I've seen and heard it isn't too bad, but without actually shooting one, it's pretty damn hard to tell heh.. Anyways, the kid in this video seems to be handling it pretty well... good to know. Price is a little prohibitive heh, but it seems like a pretty awesome handgun..
@Doctorchops Im the kid in the video I posted this after shooting it for the first time. The recoil I have been told is 60% less than a standard 9mm load. I haven't shot it side by side with a 9 but it is very manageable and is a lot of fun to shoot. You wont be dissapointed if you get one. Good luck.
@sheldonshobbies dude iv never shot a hand gun but i do have a lot of experience with shotguns believe it or not im 15 and i got my first shotgun when i was 7 now i have 9 shotguns 3 410 and 6 12 gauge and the recoil on them are not bad even with 3 1/5 inche shells so comparing the recoil of the five seven to a 12 gauge what recoils more
@101eminem101 The five seven is way less than a 12 gauge and less than a .410 even. Recoil is very very minimal. A 9mm has more felt recoil than this gun does Ive heard 60% less but am not exactly sure on the numbers.
@jwn43223 Hmm I'm not sure youtube used to have a High quality link but I think now what you do is change the resolution to 720p instead of like 320p check right along bar of play etc buttons right underneath video.
@Prettybirdies Hey thanks for the comment. That be fun to use this on gators wouldnt it. Its sure potent as long as the bullet didnt fragment first would be my only slight concern. Do they have pretty tuff skin and has it ever been used on that kind of animal?
They do have some nice natural armor; buckshot is hard to penetrate it. I'm not sure if the 5.7x28 has ever been used on one, but the bullets made for penetrating ballistic armor so I bet it would work quite well xD.
@labartic i would ahve to generally agree, an i would usually carry the .45 an i have several of those, however, i would, in reality carry this if i had it. go watch some videos of its effect on water an melons an such. obliderates them. the round is also originally designed to defeat ballistic armor. this is a highly advanced round an the way of the future. however, ill still keep those .45s handy. lol
I know it's all personal preference on what gun you choose. Everyone thinks the one they have is best. I have 2 kimbers and would go for a Dan Wesson first. They are harder to find because the market isn't flooded w/them. I have the five seven also but It's not my carry gun.
I agree I dont think this is the perfect gun but its definately one of my favorites I mean how many pistols shoot a miniature rifle type round. But I agree different guns serve best in different areas this wouldnt be my carry gun either in most situations.
Ya I know and that was me not the gun. Also that was about a year and a half ago I've improved since then. Also I got the five seven in dark earth sweet color. I'll post a better video if anybody wants. I could do review as well though it probably wont be as good as nutnfancy's whos reviews are great for anybody needing a weapon reviewed.
Nutnfancy doesnt shoot 70 percent of the handguns he reviews, he just holds them and talks about them, how can you trust a review that doesnt include any range time?
Ok I see were your coming from but he does talk alot about them the fit feel sights and so forth. Thats why there are other videos of people actually firing the weapons. I trust his reviews because he knows what he's talking about and also its his opinion on some of the things so he is being honest with you about his first impressions. Its up to you as far as what you want in a review I agree somewhat that a firing them would be nice although alot of them are on loan not his guns so he cant

That Is why I said if they have thick clothing on or soft body armor rounds in certain types will go through that. I know a guy that has one as a self defense gun and personally I wouldnt mind using one. There may be better guns with less risk of overpenetrating but this is a sweet round.
@sheldonshobbies actually budy that was the reason the round was designed for was not to over penetrate the first thing the round hits it begins to roll and yaw and release ALOt of energy into the target. type in 5.7 vs 22 magnum the video with the phone books itll will visually show what i have said
@Shaggy2dope90 Hey thanks for the comment and correcting me. Thats good to know although with something like the SS190AP stuff if you werent shooting body armour wouldnt it be a concern for over penetration. Again thanks for the comment and for keeping it civilized.
i got the same gun from a gun show for about $500 and my glock 17, i honestly think it is an awesome gun, the recoil is light and it has a 20 round mag i think it was a nice buy it came with bullets and 3 magazines.. i think my .22 mag kicks harder with cci maxi mag ammo

Are you guys seriously giving a kid a hard time? What the hell is the matter with you? He could probably out shoot 99% of you keyboard commandos. Bottom line I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that kids shooting.
Hey no problem and keep on shooting, we need more responsible shooters. Especially at your age. Today's youth is being brainwashed by the liberal media to fear guns, their parents scold them for showing an interest in firearms, their communities turn their backs on them. It's a tough time for an American with common sense these days.
@3091181 exactly, and when he did miss it wasn't by much. that kid could hit a torso much farther away.keyboard commandos lol, they watch a couple of movies and think the shits easy.
Hi actually it is good to train and become accurate with open sites. Ask gun people who compete or officers. True lasers are accurate but what if when you need it the batteries die or something like that. I am probably going to get a laser or light at some point just for the heck of it but it is good to be able to shoot well with open sights. Thanks for the comment.
